Honestly, Outkast left the game at a high note with their diamond selling album double album and a great movie to follow up. Most artists would do well to know when they hit their peak and bow out gracefully. We say we wish we had more outkast albums, but do we really? We love Andre BECAUSE he's mysterious. An enigma. Releasing great music, cherry picking his roles, and bowing out. He doesn't force the creative process. If he has nothing to say, he doesn't say it. All creatives hit their peak at some point and burn out.

Whether it's his features, collabs, solo projects or whatever 3000 is as relevant now as he was back then. Hip hop is a progression but we would be remissed if we didn't have the likes of him on current albums. This is what hip hop is all about. Blending the past with the present.
