Two Things I'd like to correct Doctor Sahab,First Chandra Shekhar Azaad was not mentor of Bhagat Singh instead Sachindra Nath Sanyal and Kartar Singh Sarabha were who inspired him and mentored.Chandra Shekar Azaad and Bhagat Singh were together in HSRA, They were great friends. Second they were not hung publicly, instead they were hung infact one day before the actual reserved date that was 24 March,they were hung on evening of 23 March and were hung secretly and their half burnt dead bodies were left when people got to know about it.

It is wrong to say that Saheed Bhagat Singh and his companions were hanged in open public place. Former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral broke down during an interview when he recalled a childhood memory watching the burning pyre of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on the banks of River Sutlej in 1931. “Bhagat Singh and his two comrades were hanged on March 23, 1931 in Lahore Central Jail. They were hanged very hurriedly and silently so that the outside world wouldn’t know about the hanging,” recalled Gujral, who demitted Prime Minister’s office in 1998.
