As somebody who started as a pure performer and embraced digital tech in music production right away, I do still see a lot of musicians being replaced. I am not happy about that certainly. However, my production studio is such a part of my brain, and how I do everything, it's not something I can turn off. The SWAM instruments will be playing a bigger and bigger role in my work going forward. Seeing that Bruce Miller himself is embracing this is enlightening and encouraging!

I'm only 17 minutes into the video but I'm enamored by how deep this guy gets about it all. You can really tell when someone is passionate about music to such a degree. Also while I'm here and since I figure this is probably the most accessible way to reach you guys, I was wondering, do you ever intend to give your brass instruments a V3 release like you did with strings and woodwinds? I think those sound absolutely PHENOMENAL out of the box but with some tweaking they're indistinguishable from the real deal. And while I love all the bells and whistles that come with the brass libraries, the timbre of the instruments themselves still sound a bit synthy and muffled, no matter how much I bump up the highs with an EQ. Don't feel obliged to answer but I would love to know if the team at Audio Modeling has any plans regarding this. Love what you guys do, you're really changing the game ☺️💗

@rebeldiva611 thanks for your comment! The version of SWAM Solo Brass is already V3. They were born with the exact same framework we use for Solo Strings and Solo Woodwinds V3. We keep improving our models, in the upcoming release (ETA mid January 2025) there will be some further improvements.

You can only make progress if you embrace innovation. It is really interesting to watch the series and how professionals who have worked for a certain way for many years see the value of new technology.

Great video! I am considering purchasing some of the swam offerings. I already bought Camelot Pro for my iPad Pro. My main thought is to use these tools for live performances. The recording side is a bonus. What program (DAW) are you using for recording? Also, are you using Camelot? I thought I saw it on one of the monitors. Thanks for going into the details of how you are using the swam instruments.

Does anyone knows which breath controller is shown on the video?
It's the TEC basic breath controller. The bite and tilt model was not good for me. The basic one is great!

there are some very realistic sounding parts, but also very bad ones (not the composition!), in the uncanny valley genre bad. Even sample libraries are having lesser uncanny valley effect, albeit less flexible overall. (it's a compromise: flexibility but lesser realisitic, or more realistic sounding but lesser flexibility)
