Mr Isham one of my favorites score composer-producer period. Thanks for making this video as we don't see him in more videos like this where we get to learn more of his experiences and insight. This is school for free.

Claudio if you read this: it was so great to see you do this interview (and collab with Mark) 😊 … I hope to see more of these! It was so great to see Mark’s reactions and interactions

At 26:05, I love the honesty of Mark's answer. As a trumpet player myself, I agree that the trumpet is good, but a bit on the metallic side. Nevertheless, the playability looks wonderful.

That's true! We wanted to show that part because we love to challenge our products and gets insights from great pros. He said also that it's already better than any other samples. at the end of the challenge he learn how to play it and it's getting more and more satisfied.

Only part way through, but I'm loving this. Yesterday I listened to Dr Mix reconstructing Jean-Michel Jarrre, this is a perfect segue. It may seem a bit random, but suddenly I understand the meaning of "But you don't really care for music, do you?"

Mark Isham blew my mind with his contributions to "Never Cry Wolf" and other amazing works played on Music From The Hearts of Space in the 80s. He is a huge influence on me. Thank you for sharing this! And I love my SWAM French Horn! Thank you Claudio!

Yeah. I was at Mark's place right when he got that film and also helped him with a midi-trumpet I was part of developing back in the 80's. He loved it and ended up using it on two of he records. I was credited on Tibet,(Windham Hill), and Castalia,(Virgin Records). I was at the sessions for Tibet with Mark for about a week or more when we did the recordings at Producers Studios off Sunset Blvd. Lot's of fun memories.

Great stuff! SWAM has become a must in my workflow of late. Your instruments, coupled with my EWI or NuRAD controllers, are a blast to play. You guys are killing it.

I always always loved the Crash soundtrack.. the cover art for that movie/poster is emblematic alongside the soundtrack 👍🏻

Epic on so many levels. Mark is a living legend. Love the sonic capabilities of SWAM. I hope one day they will bring some of it to a hardware synth (Audio Modeling + Studiologic??). And of course Claudio who did an awesome job interviewing and showing of SWAM.

I can't help but feel for Mark, sitting there trying to convey excitement about this. As someone who intimately understands how these instruments should sound, he can clearly see that SWAM, while innovative, still falls short of capturing the true essence of the real thing. So synthy. Cool tech though!

Still half way through and wanted to say this is a fantastic video. Another great controller for SWAM is the Linnstrument. Back to watching … 👍

Mark Isham for me is October Sky and The Majestic. The emotion he can express through music has helped shape my tastes.

I love his score for the Hitcher (1986 movie), amazing, point break as well.

Love this but totally get a TECcontrol midi breath controller for real feeling.. game changer especially with its 4 CCs that it sends. (Breath/Tilt/Nod/Bite) - AudioModeling should do a deal with them for a package deal!

Did Claudio actually try to FAKE SELL Swan Strings to Mark Isham?! 😮 I respect you, Claudio, and have been a follower since day one, but I've learned that under your gregarious personality, a shameles salesman lives, unhinged. I get that you need to earn a living, but to peddle products constantly, and to get Isham to play dumb, while he's obviously in on it, is shameful!

Dude!! There is nothing fake about this video 🕺 But you can believe what you want ❤️
