It doesn't change anything, tortured ones are in capture and concentration camps and so you won't see them on the streets. Also like Xinjiang, Singapore is also an occupied Han Chinese city, with policies priotizing Chinese immigration and to become citizens, although Singapore Indigenous people are the Malays, the Malays can't migrate or become citizens of Singapore, even if they are allowed, it is in very controlled and very small amount.

It's very interesting. When I see some vloggers from Southeast Asian countries travelling to Xinjiang, China, they think it's very normal. They just explore the diverse side of China,and not mention any controversial topics. But once vloggers from European countries travel to Xinjiang, China, everyone will say that this is a controversial area, and Keep repeating what they have seen in the media. I think that perhaps because the American media has a particularly large influence in Europe, Europeans' views on the world are basically shaped by the American media. And people in some Southeast Asian countries already know that most of the reports of the U.S. media are lies, including the topic of Xinjiang in China, but Europeans still think it is true when they see some European and American media reports on China. In fact, there is no such thing as European media, because the content, topics and narratives of European media coverage are basically subject to Washington.

The word “controversial” stems almost exclusively from the western media which even today would refuse to use the word of G to describe what’s happening in Gaza, yet confidently pointed out the G is happening in Xinjiang.

Some answers to your questions in the video: 1:08 - The mosque is indeed the largest in China, by area and accomodation. 1:55 - The lady said to come back in around 1 hour, while the man that came to apologize to you later told you 20 minutes. 13:29 - The writing on the gate is "汗巴扎",translating to "Khan bazzar", bazzar being a middle-eastern style marketplace. 19:39 - In chinese, we have different terms for saying a food is yummy and a drink is yummy. 好吃(hao chi) means "good to eat" and 好喝 (hao he) means "good to drink". 27:39 - Usually, trees have the white coating on the bottom to prevent pests and disease. It is made of lime(not the fruit) and water. You can see all the trees in the main street also have them at 32:40 . 29:35 - It depends on the mosque if it's paid or not. For this one it is paid for tourists and free for people praying there. these are the same rules as the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. 35:13 - The girl said: "Wow, you're so tall! I need to tilt my head up a lot to see your face!" 35:23 - She then said "Can take a look at your phone?" 35:29 - The lady on the left said "she said she wants to try out your phone " 41:15 - The man on the right said "It's sold out already, usually it is only available in the morning. Come tomorrow morning and we will have it." 42:20 - From my experience, I think gas bikes are still allowed in some cities, and they are definitely allowed in rural areas. Hope this helps! And as always, this was an exciting video, keep up the good content! Pls pin my comment ❤

I am from Xinjiang, and while studying abroad, I became good friends with many classmates from Saudi Arabia and Iran. Although I am not a Muslim, I grew up in a Muslim environment. I had many conversations with my classmates and learned that there are differences among Muslims depending on the region. For instance, women can drive in Dubai, alcohol is available in Iran, and each region has its unique characteristics. This is similar to how Tibetan Buddhism, Japanese Buddhism, and Thai Buddhism differ from original Indian Buddhism. The most astonishing thing is how war criminals who violate the law can be sheltered by the U.S., as if the American government is pleased whenever Chinese people are killed. It seems that preventing terrorists from killing people is seen as a violation of human rights. I can’t help but wonder: after all these years in Afghanistan, what has the U.S. really changed? What has it changed in Iraq? Apart from sending its own soldiers to die, what has been accomplished? Or is it all just for profit?

I am an American man 75 yo who has traveled a lot and spent time in 93 countries and have living in beautiful St Petersburg Russia 25 years(next month ) and visited first in the era of USSR, 1976. One common thread in the education media, politics, and beliefs systems, it is a society that believes what is not true. The "news" is always based on mythology of the US being the only free country in the world and the only one where the government is honest so any views are nonsense propaganda spread by people who are seeking to harm the US. The societies that are hated the most are those that opening suggest there is another way. The education system, science, the humanities etc are all infiltrated by the distorted belief system that benefits very wealthy or embedded ideologies. The result is Americans truly believe, as the only people with freedom, only their opinions matter and if the US attacks another country it was because it was evil or not "free". Few people question the 202 wars and regime changes since 1950. Media and movies are the main source of their opinions. They all believe invading another country is their duty to defend the US despite not one has attacked the US. No country has any intention to harm the USand all 30,000,000 people killed in US wars and regime change operations, that had no intention to harm the US. So every American has been primed to accept the constantly discussed coming war with China. It is not a matter of possibilities but a certainty everyone accepts for reasons never mentioned. The Ukraine conflict is "Russia attacking for no reason but evil, a peaceful democracy on Ukraine out of the blue in Feb 2022.They are not told of the 8 years of US driven war against the Russian speakers, 1/2 the population of the country, and the 2 coups run out of the US Embassy that eliminated and trace of democracy in what has been the most corrupt country in the northern hemisphere. The civilians, all Russian speakers, in eastern Ukraine, had been under violent attack by the US installed and controlled region, fought off the constant shelling and sniper killing of children walked to school by their mothers because they did not accept the US staged coup in 2014. But no American or European knows or cares about another US regime change. Look back on any US wars, not one them was started by the country attacked. Even Vietnan, the only war bythe US where there was resistance by Americans of draft age people, the people were never informed that the US was trying to prevent the people of Vietnam to have a choice in their government. The US installed 8 different leaders in the south, none by the choice of the people who dfought for the their independence from France and won after a long bloody war of independence that defeated the French in 1954 and the UN set a 1956 date for their first free elections, The general who defeated the French after many years of fighting was the popular choice of the people was resisted by the US head of the CIA and the US state Department, who decided only they personally could decide who was to rule. The two Dulles brothers took it upon themselves to ban elections and invaded with mercinary armies in 1955 to prevent the people from their choice of leaders. That started another war seeking independence and the American people were never told until years later that they were at war against the people of Vietnam who only wanted the right to select their own leader. That war killed over 3 million people seeking independence. The US war did not end until 1972 but the people of the US only knew it was from the 1960s to 72. We murdered 3 million people preventing the people from having choice, Ukraine is very similar in that any options for a democracy was opposed by the US and people in the west really only knew that war started in 2022 when Russia moved troops into the newly independent Donbas DPR and LPR new states by invitation to help defend those regions that were under daily attack for 8 years before declaring independence. Even now, the war is still primarily on land of the Donbas that is independent of Kiev The Dnpier River is the border. But the US and coup regime that was installed by Obama. Biden had little or no public support. Russian speakers were not allowed to vote in a fake election that installed a comedian who ran on the platform of stopping the war and accept Donbas independence which was the will of the people but from day one after being sworn in, peace was not permitted because he was controlled by the US consulate Just like Vietnam and 100 other wars to to protect freedom, nothing the US claimed and believed by the American people was actually true. There is only one good thing from this. The formation of alternative trade systems that are outside of US control, 28 countries now in BRICS but another 50++ interested in joining, allowing fair trade between producer countries. The US is gearing up to destroy not only Russia but China and Europeans and Americans are fine with that since they are told China seeks to take over the world and only the one-honest country and can prevent that aggression by China, it the US. Europe is on board. Ask your neighbors why you are rushing to war with a much larger population that does not invade other countries that is out innovating 20 to 1 vs the US. Ask them WHY we need to destroy China and you will not get a rational answer other than "we need to save democracy". What democracy in the world would offer a choice between Harris and Trump as the only options. No real democracy. The Chinese "aggression" threat is so commonly discussed in US media but no one has come up with an example of this aggression. China has one small base outside China and Russia has two. less then 200 staffing. The US both military based and covert stations are in every country on earth. Who is the aggressor?

Thanks for sharing and letting people know the real life in Xinjiang. The Id Kah Mosque only charges for tourists, if you are muslim, you could enter without a ticket from another entrance. Actually, most of mosques in China are free for tourists, while the Id Kah Mosque is regarded as a famous tourist spot and which is located in the less developed region; they need to raise funds to improve their facilities and well-being, and ¥30 (US $4.1) is totally affordable for tourists from other parts of China.

@@kimberiysmarketstrategy Most of the historic religious areas in China sell entrance tickets to visitors, maybe because most of the Chinese people don't offer any donations to these religious temples since they are and the people in authority are all athests. Most of the temples in my country Myanmar depend on donation fund from the visitors, so they could afford to afford free entrance, but that's not the case in China I guess.

Local people and Chinese tourists from other parts demand local government there to deploy police and armed police in main streets to provide SENSE OF SECURITY. Two decades ago, the public security in Southern Xinjiang was not so good, as the region is very close to the border to Pakistan, Afganistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. Kashgar is a very famous city where Chinese domestic tourists eager to travel, and local residents wanna develop their toursim-related businesses. Both of them hope to improve Xinjiang's security condition and reputation to BOOST the tourism. Therefore, you see the police there, and in China, police will help you deal with almost every daily-life difficulty you face, and you can try requesting help from them.

The "soldiers" you saw on the street is called "Chinese People's Armed Police Force" (PAP) . I think the reason you saw these PAP on street is because "The Ürümqi 7-5 Incident" , a series of violent riots over several days broke out on 5 July 2009 in Ürümqi. Total of 197 people died, with 1,721 others injured and many vehicles and buildings destroyed.

Ken, thank you for coming back to China again. I would like to answer some of your questions. First one Why they painted the bottom of trees in the garden? Actually many places you can see in that country, It is for tree's health and protection from tree disease. and other factors. Second question: Why there are more policemen and cameras? Because that is a border city. you can imagine how important of the security for the local people. they must live their lives in peace. The last question is why everywhere in the country is clean, because the government has a good system of health and environment policy, they not only concern about their own environment, but also the global health and environment. so that is why you can see everywhere in the country is general clean. Wishing you a good trip in China.

@大家伙-u1d
@大家伙-u1d 16 күн бұрын
@@sunnyraining7346 1. The cameras are not for monitoring people. There are not enough staff to watch the screens. The cameras exist so that if you accidentally lose your wallet, you can find it quickly by calling the police. If you are wearing a hot skirt on the street and a jerk touches your butt, you can find him through the cameras and arrest him within 15 minutes by calling the police. 2. The paint on the trees is not paint, but lime, which is used to prevent termites from eating the trees. Most Chinese policemen do not have guns. They exist mainly to help others, not to suppress.

They are still bombed, slaughtered, and hungry. Look at the Muslims in Xinjiang, China. None of them are hungry. They can dance happily. They can go to the mosque.
