Yes, pasta lines refer to Figma prototyping lines. When you add a prototyping interaction between two pages, Figma shows a blue line. For complex project, some designers end up having thousands of lines on a single page which makes the page looks like a bowl of blue pasta. This is because Figma prototyping is not as advanced as coding. But with the new "Variable" features just launched by Figma, now it can support advanced prototyping. And what originally needed hundreds of pages and thousands of lines - now only need a few pages and a few lines.
