I used to run a nightclub in London and John would come with his enoaurage with a rolled up check book to pay to get in - I would say put it away it was an honor to have them all - he was and still seems to be a beautiful kind and deep person. He had his problems and looks like he has worked hard to overcome them. He is a treasure and I love he is sharing his treasures with us and esp that he is still the sweet genius i knew 30 years ago!

About 10 years ago I bought the scented candle that John Galliano created for Diptyque. The scent is unbelievable, so creative, like nothing else, the smell of the gods, really ! :-) Somehow his house reminds me of that scent. We are so lucky to have this genius in the world.

He’s always had such a WAY….I remember that article in Vogue where they were interviewing Kate Moss for her wedding and she had said that she needed a “story”, that he would always whisper something in her ear before a show.
