I'm not religious so this may be a naïve question: but can't you just worship in your own home, or with other friends & local people? Why do people feel the need to throw money at clearly fake, evil people like these big "evangelists"??? Does god only love you if you give your money to Creflo Dollar or Joel Osteen? Will Jesus be upset if you decide to simply praise him inside your own home, without going somewhere else and donating to their private jet fund?

Some religions may have doctrine requiring certain rites be performed in ordained areas. Places of worship also have religious leaders whose job it is to interpret holy texts and preach, making worship much less involved for the concregation. Many religions also have the concept of tithes. Tithing directly to the church and letting them decide distribution is much easier than figuring out on your own.

Yes you can worship at home. Thats the way it was set up in the first place. And your not supposed to worship ANY MAN only the father. The 1st commandment. Jesus never claimed to be God, thats a catholic invention of a false christ.
