It's mostly the life of Tamilnadu which was simple and yet so beautiful. Gone are the good old days and it is history now. Everyone worked outdoors and had a healthy lifestyle. What South India is now, is all because of their hardwork. Farming, pottery, weaving and many other occupations.

Memories are one of the most crucial things we can cherish throughout our lives and after seeing this video I recalled all my childhood memories through this video ,when ever I visit my village it’s exactly look like this working in fields, playing near rivers, tanks ,wearing handmade clothes and participating in festivals and gathering whole village at one place and watching movies together ,it was awesome experience . During the times, we may get some refreshment by recalling our memories. We can run our lives smoothly with the help of these memories. ❤️❤️THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO WITH US Korbin and Rick 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

My hometown in Tamilnadu, South India is called the ‘Princess of Hills’, I have the very good memories of my hoedown few decades before. It used to be very cold, especially in the morning. We had no footwear, every agricultural farm is filled with dew, we get up early morning, cleaning the cowshed, watering the cows, supplying milk door to door, cutting the grass with sickle (our hands and feet used to freeze), then going to school (running in barefoot because we can’t be late). I started to collect the photos both black & white, photos of my time. Note: I earn in Lakhs but never happy or peaceful. Old is always GOLD

The beauty of earlier indian villages was that each unit was self sufficient and organized with everyone knowing everyone else. They did trade with neighbour villages for what they did not have or their surplus. They never over exploited the land preserving the environment. Year on year growth, etc., bane of modern life, was a concept unknown. Just sifficiency was the order of the day.

Lessons learnt: Pre-capitalism/socialism fight, the world was a happy place. Self-sustained local micro-economy, eco friendly way of living, not-so-greedy people are the wheels of this beautiful/thoughtful system. There was a beautiful life pre-industrialization era. There is true meaning to the Tamil saying, "podhum endra maname pon seiyyum marundhu" which means "Being heartfully content at what we have is the secret of making gold".

Well ,u also didn't have innovation and technology and convenience which u have now with all the electronics and social media. Its all because of capitalism u r watching and commenting on this video and u have a phone. Without capitalism, no real innovation . @@muroogle there are pros and cons of everything. But pros outweigh the cons in capitalism and industrialisation. Life in 500 bc would be better than 1900s according to ur reasoning. I mean, we were the most self sufficient during stone age. Just hunting animals for our own food and shelter and living in the moment lol. The ppl living there are using the advancements made by creativity and wheels because of necessity. Necessity is the reason why capitalism and industrialisation blew up and will always continue to do so. And please don't tell me its relative😂😂 no technology for medical science . Very less or no information about most diseases in those times. No cure for so many things. Life expectancy was very low. Ppl died due to pregnancies and diseases and wild animals and ppl were living in constant fear. Capitalism industrialisation is the reason why we have medical and scientific progress and technology in these fields. Under socialism, u r in control of the govt and they cant do as good of a research and innovation as private companies. U can see clearly. Anything which is of govt, its bad. Their offices, hospitals, banks, etc. Capitalism and industrialisation is the reason for technological advancement in medical science and space research. Convenience was never relative..its as objective as it can get. Our forefathers had to travel under scorching heat to get water from wells. Food was not easily available and no choices. Just see the difference in sports of 1900s and now. A small flip in gymnastics was considered great in 1900s Olympics. Farmers had hard time. We were self sufficient in those days. Unfortunately (for whatever reason) people fell prey to the britishers game and today it has (almost) lost all its traditions/ cultures and moving towards western culture without realising what they are losing. Such a rich tradition is only imaginary today and only can be seen in such videos and be marvelled that our ancestors lived such a great self-sufficient life and with self respect. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 The movie clipping Maaveeran (towards the end) is from the year 1956. The current TN government and its fathers regime roughly a decade ago spoiled the total TN population and still aggressively doing it.

Sorry but literacy doesn't equate to education. By Indian standards a person aged seven and above, who can both read and write with understanding in any language, is treated as literate. That is not much to be proud of honestly. In-fact there are more degree holders in many other states than in kerala. Kerala's population is less. For example karnataka has a literacy rate of 75% and their population is 6.41 Cr. so by simple calculation there are 4.8 Cr. literates. In case of Kerala the literacy rate is 96.2% and their population is 3.46Cr. so there are 3.32Cr. literates which lesser then Karnataka in number.

Even in drama on those days men don't act with women together when it's comes to a love stories because if there is man touching the women scene they don't the like that only one girl that to his wife that's it thats why in video beside her another one is also a lady doing than charecte... the man treat the women like that that's the culture of South Indians in those days 🙏🏻🙏🏻
