One of my favourite parts of Inside Job is that Reagan as a protagonist is an actual character. She’s not just a cardboard cutout to spew out whitty and sarcastic remarks like a douchey know-it-all, she has actual strive and goals that are clear from the get-go. She wants to rule Cognito, each move she makes either progresses or gets in the way of that goal, and it’s amazing to see how it all comes together by the end of the season. I just wanna see this show get the proper love and attention it deserves, not just by the fandom, but by Netflix as well who continuously show their greed and obsession with low-effort and boring drab that overshadows the actual talent and passion such as Inside Job.

Inside Job… is the single best comedy show I’ve seen in years, every character plays their own style of humor making the team feel more alive! And at the same time it is so heartwarming and the characters feel so alive! It was the definition of a perfect adult comedy in my book and it was wonderful. I think the main problem with adult animation is companies care more about sex jokes (usually involving kids for some reason) then what adults want, interesting characters, mature themes, development, real life problems. It’s not a shock that adults are turning to children’s animation like the owl house or bluey just for a crumb of actually decent writing and art. Not to mention the autistic representation that is actually accurate. Inside job had both. honestly the worst thing about both reagan and rand's use of the timeline exploring tech to me is that, assuming it works as i'm pretty sure it does, their attempts to get their happy ending is exactly what caused them to lose it. If you're in a multiverse where every decision splits the timeline and you want to find the one universe that meets specific criteria, you need to keep in mind that your own universe is also relevant. It is entirely possible, and i think it is the case, that rand was "supposed" to be happy with tamako and reagan in the current universe, he was supposed to fix things, but in his attempt to find the easy way out he missed his chance and, in a similar way, reagan and ron were supposed to be happily together in the current universe but reagan missed her chance, all because they assumed that they couldn't be in the right universe already and decided to look elsewhere, only seeing all the other possibilities.

3 quick things. One, big mouth isn’t that bad, it can be gross but man when it gets a storyline/moment right, it kills it. Rick and morty is still great! it’s humor DID change, but that’s because the plot of the show (and characters) have progressed. the meta humor HAS a purpose. PLEASE watch the episode a vat of acid (it’s a standalone episode!) one of my favorite episodes of television ever and THAT quality of story telling is being grown in the background of Rick and morty :) 3. I mean if you view it in the context of current adult animation, that’s unavoidable. It’s significantly less overbearing than other shows though which is why it stands out

Netflix has done such an awful job trying to keep subscribers. The platforms need new good content to keep them. If not, they don't want to keep it. Cancelling the best shows doesn't make people want to keep paying for it

My heart shattered when I learned that Inside Job had been cancelled…it was one of the few good things being made during a sort of “dark period” in adult animation. I don’t think that period is entirely behind us, however I think we’re getting a huge boom in indie animation here on KZbin, such as the shows on GLITCH Productions, so maybe we can see Inside Job as a life preserver during those dark ages. Also, I really think Rick and Morty season 7 was not that bad. There were a lot more hits than misses. Also also, fuck Netflix.

Not sure but that’s a good point. They may have the rights for x amount of time before it can be picked up so it remains on their service. Should matter since they were the ones that broke contract but I’m not sure

I just finished watching the show and I'm so shocked at the ending, there's so many unanswered questions there's so much more that could have been done. I'm going to spend the rest of my life thinking that there's going to be another park coming out cause it's just felt unfinished. Really good show really deserved more

The thing that made Inside Job an amazing piece of art is that it was equal parts relatable writing and incredible voice acting and casting. Netflix did it a disservice by not letting it come to a conclusion.

One of my favorites Final Space got a tax write off cause of the stupid discovery bs and netflix finally took it off now there's no ways to watch it other than pirating. I think netflix might start getting rid of cancelled netflix originals soon.

The reason "shitty" shows get more seasons is cause it has an audience. Not everyone likes inside job just like how not everyone likes big mouth. (I'm not saying one show is better than another btw)

That's because there is a massive disconnect of people who consume different media. For every person who trashes these shitty animated shows on KZbin or Reddit, there are about 2 to 3 people who like these shows. People who are, just average, basic, have no sense of whats good but only cares about what's popular.

It’s been over a year since this shows cancellation and I’m still forever a massive fan. I relate to Reagan too heavily, we even look alike which is the silly bit of it all. Her personality although we have differences I can find a place to relate in every single bit of her story arc, when I grow older as now I am 15 I know I’ll end up just like her because of the work force I am joining that I know will rip me away from people. But I am not ashamed to do it because I know where I will end up working (which hopefully will be a EMT) I will also help people but I can’t help those people without making sacrifices. To anyone who also relates to Reagan as an adult or even as a teen like me I adore and hope all of you will be successful just like she was! AND IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE SHOW WATCH IT

I watched the first season of inside Job 4 Times in one week. I love this show. I was beyond mad, that netflix dropped it.
