I honestly love what the writing team have done it's so genius that they put Reagan in the same spot her dad was in for the first season. It makes you look back to the start and think man so many things had changed for Reagan. A girl who was anti social who will need the help of her friends to take down her dad and restore balance to everything. Just so amazing.

Inside Job was something that weirdly grew on me. It doesn't feel like it breaks new ground. It doesn't feel like it goes far enough. But... then it starts to feel comfortable in its own weird skin. I think the secret sauce is that the writers know when to tone it back on the cynicism and everyone being a piece of crap. Which is part of what fatigued me about Rick and Morty. This is something that adult animation has struggled with since the ascendancy of South Park and family guy. Now we'll have to see if the show can stick the landing by having permanent character development.

@@johngarland4338 Gal. Shion Takeuchi, the Inside Job showrunner, was part of the Annie Nomination for writing Not What He Seems for Gravity Falls and was one of the series writers for the show. Alex Hirsch is also on this project, probably especially to leverage his name for one of the people who helped his series be such a success, but this project is definitely Shion's baby--Alex had the one series he wanted to do, and Gravity Falls is completed

Can I point out that since Reagan in the last episode in the memory trip turns out she had a “real friend”. I started hypothesizing that what if Orrin was in the shadow board. The only evidence I have is that in the first episode before the shadow board said her name Brett comes in with bagels. Then they stopped right there. So it is possible Reagan and Brett could easily team up with Orrin if he is really in the shadow board to take her father down and claim her ownership of Cognito Inc. That’s my opinion of what I think will go down for season 2 like if you agree or comment what you think will happen for this season
