Justin seems like a literal man child and I think like most celebs that become famous so young, his emotional maturity and intelligence has been severely stunted. Just my opinion, but he does seems emotionally abusive, especially if you've ever been in that position before, you can almost just sense it. The way he throws tantrums, leaves her, low-key embarrasses her, and makes jokes that are supposed to be light-headed and funny but are always coated in some sort of underlying truth. This doesn't excuse Hailey's behavior but, I don't think she realized what she was really getting herself into because she viewed him as the prize for so long, not knowing he came with some serious issues or maybe she thought she could fix him. Its just in insight into what Selena had to put up with all those years. Selena's relationship with him was probably just as toxic, and her bullying Selena just shows how insecure she is in her marriage. Justin really needs therapy for himself, not just for the marriage.

My opinion. I think Justin went into the whole thing with an honest but naive thinking. He probably felt like his life was out of control and with all the back and forth of his relationship, he really thought that settling down and being a husband and one woman man would bring some kind of stability and control to his life. I think he wanted it to be Selena but she turned him down. He has said he knew Hailey would say yes if he asked. I think he thought that maybe marrying what seemed like a nice Christian girl and settling down was what needed. I think he thought that was all it took and then it would be white picket fences and kids playing in the yard and BBQs on weekends. I think reality is kicking his ass and he feels stuck like oh crap what did I do? I think he wants to make it work cuz he made the commitment but nothing is matching the image he had in his head and like he said, it didn’t solve his problems like he had hoped. I agree. I feel a little bad for him too. Even though people make it seem like he forced Hailey to bully Selena at gunpoint. He got engaged 2 months after a breakup with a longtime partner and got NO PRENUP. That’s how desperate he was. And he was influenced by that celebrity church and that pastor who ended up being a philanderer. And he was going through drug withdrawal issues and loneliness. Remember the state of him when he got engaged to Hailey? Crying in the streets. Looking homeless. Not combing his hair. Looking out of it all the time. He was looking for salvation. It seems like Justin is toxic to Hailey because he feels trapped in a relationship with his wife. It seems like him and Hailey both try hard to convince themselves that they are meant to be, but body language doesn’t lie. But if he divorces her,he could lose half his fortune. That situation would make me miserable and resentful too. Hailey knew exactly what she wanted and she tracked him for years and went through with her plan to get him. She is not some innocent pawn. The whole thing is really a mess. I’m glad Selena is getting therapy. She needs to stay away from their toxic asses.

I remember feeling so sorry for Hailey about seeing paparazzi pics of Hailey falling down on the concrete while trying to run after him after he skateboarded off and left her. 😢 Nobody deserves that. Idk yall Justin seems kind of weird. And I've heard several photographers speak so highly & sweetly of Hailey, saying that she is so sweet, & lovely, & kind, & so easy to work with. Im a huge bieber fan and in some videos I saw with him and Hailey I would not have the patience to tolerate his behavior. Many times it seems childish. On that note people are not considering his humor style and maturity level that has been impacted due to his instant stardom. It's kind of like the concept of when some people go to jail and are released years later, their stuck in the cultural and emotional era that they last were exposed to. I think Justin is just starting to mature emotionally by having to live with, care for, and be somewhat responsible for someone else on a daily basis. This is not a person who has had the opportunity to develop or expand social skills daily in a classroom as a teen like the rest of us have (as far as I know). Or had siblings close in age to challenge self-centered behavior as a teen. I'm not excusing all that he has done/said but much of his teenage life was spent on tour, in isolation. With the lyme disease comment I think he could've been attempting to set boundaries with her... I did not think it was rude yet he still felt the need to say "just kidding" when I really think he was trying to assert himself. She might be bossier than we think. Great video!

Personally I think they’re just going through tough times. They got married too soon. Hailey wanted Justin to be hers and Justin wanted someone to do as he says (it’s obvious he runs that relationship). They were stuck with each other everyday due to the pandemic and had a lot going on health wise for the both of them. They have great moments together that we see solely as well. They might not last if they don’t work through their issues though.

Personally, I'm team nobody. Unfortunately, because of how social media and all these other outside influences depict love, we our ourselves almost have no concept of what actual love is, how it should feel, and be shown. I personally think that Hailey is just going with it. On another commentary channel they stated that because of how Hailey grew up with her father being the way he was (not sure currently) she's used to Justin's behavior. Also, cognitive dissonance and delusion play a HUGE part of our decisions when being in these celebrities' relationships. But unfortunately, and fortunately for them they have access to how their relationship looks from many people's perspectives. Best of luck to all parties involved.
