I have always loved 90210, and still watch the reruns on TV to this day! I love Tori Spelling, and have read two of her books. Looking at this video made me sick, and to feel for Tori even more. How she came out of the craziness that is Candy to where she is now is beyond me. Candy Spelling is the most demented person in Hollywierd; even in a place where excess is the norm, this is just simply insane!

I've read articles about Candy Spelling how she complains how her daughter Tori can spend money foolishly. That was why Tori wasn't left much money in her father's will. It seems to me that Candy Spelling is just as bad if not worse at blowing money.

I usually don't comment, but Mrs. Spelling is an absolute joke of a Mother. She raised her daughter, and wonders on Tori's mindless spending? That doll room says it all, along with "hobbies" and "collecting". She taught her daughter all the wrong things, now wonders what happened? To actually say she contributed to her fathers death is appalling. I read somewhere that when 12 yr old Tori asked if she was pretty, good ole Mom replied, " After you have your nose done you will be". 😳. Tori has her own issues, but I don't see much remorse or longing for her daughter BACK. Peace to all, and I hope the Spelling clan finally figures out what's most important, love, forgiveness and FAMILY. Together. Regardless of money.

This mansion could, easily, make a transition into a hotel...Hopefully, that'll happen, one day, so, that, many people - those who are able to afford to stay at such a place - would be able to enjoy The Manor...The only other mansion in the US, off the "top of my head", that, readily comes to mind, in terms of a compatible comparison to The Manor, in terms of, square footage, glamour and grandeur, is, The White House.

It’s sweet that her husband built it for her. These days many men are hoping a woman who will never see them as a dream catch/daddy material stays poor. That’s why I like true ‘old school’ men - they knew women shouldn’t be rundown (bitter and tired 24/7) - they truly wanted the women in their lives to be happy. I found it amusing she calls 16,000 square feet ‘downsizing’ but after living in a house so large, 3000 square ft would probably seem too small.

back then, it wasn't about greed, it was about status and things. Materialism in the late 80s/early 90s was a big thing. Aaron Spelling worked for every dime they had, he made a lot of money from his own talent and creativity. There's nothing wrong with that. Hollywood is the mecca of lavish lifestyles, or used to be, anyway. I'm pretty sure if you had the kind of money he did, you would be showing it off, buying huge homes, buying sporty cars and and all of the clothes and shoes you wanted. Don't forget the Spellings did a LOT of charity work and philanthropy so they shared much of their wealth with a lot of organizations and needy people.

You can also look at it this way. If you want to live in the best part of the city of Los Angeles, and in a SAFE neighborhood, this place is probably it. If have this much money, why not invest in a house like this, diversify, stocks, bonds, real estate. This house obviously returned 5X or 10X what Spelling spent on it.
