We know it’s just a swift block. In fact, he said it in the video 0_0 but it’s a good thing Rubik’s copied a speed cube no matter how good or bad it is because it’s better than the regular cube. I’ve seen ALOT of beginners make the mistake of buying a regular Rubik’s cube thinking it’s the best since it’s the original brand. Now, they can look and see Rubik’s Speed which makes buyers more likely to get that one which is better for those buyers to start cubing with no experience.

I bought the previous Rubics Speed Cube (not bluetooth). This is a cube good for beginners. I do like the coloured tiles with the black borders maybe because it replicates my original cube from the early 80's. It turns nicely without sticking.

Yo, you can actually take off the center cap of the old Rubik’s speedcube even the non speedcube ones (hopefully) by using a flat head to remove it, but don’t do it too often since the leg bits will break. I learned this the hardway, I did this to my Rubik’s phantom and the leg bits slowly got detatched from the main center cap.

@@inseminggd Well its kinda tricky to do it since unlike with the old rubik's speed, there's two holes so that the flat head can go in and pry the center cap off.. The non speed ones.. its just flat soo but It might work just be careful

I just got a Rubik's Speed (the "stickered" one in this) gifted to me (my first cube). You can pull the tiles off the center pieces to expose screws - I'm not sure if it supports fine-tuning though.

The previous version of Rubik's speedcube did have a magnetic version which I own, but the magnets in it were too weak and the cube itself was still fairly flimsy. This new one is a re-branded Swift Block, and yeah, it's miles better. I got one myself and I don't mind it at all.

Just picked it up for ten bucks on Amazon. For the price? Zero complaints. Functional piece of history 👍🏼 looking forward to getting it home and throwing some lube on it to make it more controllable. The adjustment system is a direct ripoff of Moyu's system just with fewer clicks available but easier to adjust by hand. The screw adjustment for distance is still ideal if you ask me

I bought this cube a few hours ago while on a holiday trip on a toy store and it's pretty Ok Very similar to QiYI M Pro for the "blocky" feeling and magnet strength. Close to Meilong 3M on the surface feeling and something similar to QiYi M Pro and RSM 2020 on how it turns (probably because of the "blocky stability"). I like it. The spring noises are real like on RSM 2020 but however... the actual issue it's a piece that locks a bit with another because bad manufacturing (the blue/yellow/orange corner) but I guess it's bad luck for me and it's actually negligible if you don't pay attention and you don't turn slowly. For 16€ (Spain) it's acceptable. I still prefer the Meilog 3M or the QiYi M Pro for 10 and 15€ respectively if it's about budget magnetic cubes, but this is the first time that you can see a speed magnetic cube on a casual store and it's actually a good one to start.

Plus: Seems that It's a rebranded Swift Block from Gan. For 4€ less (20€ Swift Block on Amazon VS 16€ Rubik Speed on a Store). I wanted to try a Swift Block (but not for 20€, for 23 I brought the Super RS3M 2022 Ball Core. 3 times on 3 Amazon random sales) and the logo looks prettyer on the Rubiks Speed, so win-win.
