Hi thank you for your video. There isnt much info but may I ask if the bottom zip of the backpack is the access to the the main area or is a separate compartment? Cheers!

What size bottle fits in the water bottle pockets? I have a 1 litre water bottle and those pockets do look a bit small for my water bottle on camera. It would be great if they added a separate laptop compartment and release a 15-16” variant so I can carry my 16” MBP with me

Lorna has a 1L Nalgene bottle in the side pocket here, it was a bit of a tight squeeze but does fit in. A slightly taller, slimmer bottle would fit no problem so you should comfortably fit anything around 1L in there. There is a dedicated laptop sleeve in the Outlong, but it is integrated into the main compartment which does make it a little trickier to access than a true separate compartment. For right now, the closest Fjallraven produce to your laptop needs is the Kanken Laptop 17 (they also do a 15 as well) www.fjallraven.com/uk/en-gb/bags-gear/kanken/kanken-bags/kanken-laptop-172

Hi! How does the color fog hold up? I know the black shows the wax scratches and lint, and the ochre is always getting dirty. Iv read in Reddit that the fog is good but haven’t been able to find any review proof of that over time. What do you think?

We can only provide anecdotal feedback for Fog, it does seem to hold up better compared to the other lighter colours, but most of the Kanken range will age and patina through use due to the nature of the fabric. If you want to keep a Kanken looking pristine it will require some maintenance.

Im deciding between this or the 17 inch one. Which one should I go for, help. Because the measurements of both.. the Outlong seems to be bigger but holds less L?? 18 vs 20? But the 18 is physically bigger like what

That's a tough call. We'd maybe err towards the Outlong because it has the padded back which will be a little more comfortable for carrying longer. Looking over the official specs it doesn't quite stack up does it. Only thing we can think is that for some reason Fjallraven are not including the bottom pocket from the Outlong as part of their volume calculations.

Whats the sizw of bacpack without these bottle pocket ? Becouse in website the cm are more biger than konken classic but at your film its look smaller.

The Outlong is 18L vs the Kanken at 16L. That 2L does make a noticeable difference when it comes to packability. Those side pockets do make it look a little more squat though.

If we're being honest, we don't know for sure. We don't currently stock the Organizer, however, we'd have a good guess at saying that it would fit as it fits the standard Kanken, and both the Kanken Laptop variants which have similar internal space to the Outlong. If you decide to take the plunge and order one we'd be curious to hear if it fits. And if it doesn't fit, we didn't tell you it did 🤐😂

Are the bottleholders included in the 18 liters or is this bag 18 liters plus Bottleholders?

Fjalllraven just state that the Outlong has a capacity of 18L, with it being slightly bigger than the regular Kanken, we would hazard a guess that the 18L refers to the main compartment, but cannot be completely sure as Fjall do not specify.

Will they have this in G-1000?

Whilst we wouldn't rule it out, it's less likely as the majority of the Kanken family uses Vinylon F instead of G-1000. But never say never, Fjallraven might surprise us with a G-1000 model at some point in the future.

A 16" laptop wouldn't fit, Lorna was using a 14" Macbook in the video and that was fairly snug so we'd say it would max out at a 15" sorry! I bought this Kanken Outlong) and I have a 16'' MBP) if you take out the Seat Pad the laptop fits in well. The back of the backpack is quite padded so you can wear it.
