Yes! And even if the place is over the top money he seems not to take it for granted but enjoy all of it, which is how it should be. He worked for it, why shouldn’t he have a beautiful home filled with objects that he and his husband found together and love? I mostly watch videos dealing with small space living, I find the storage and living solutions endlessly creative and interesting, but every now and then it’s nice to take a break and spend time where money and space constraints are not an issue.

To a New Yorker, this is the equivalent to a country estate - and probably costs more. This kind of property in Manhattan is VERY luxurious and only for the ultra ultra rich. I'm not exaggerating when I say that most apartments in this area are about the size of Kors' closet - and still costs an arm and a leg.

"I know the difference, it makes me happy" as it should be! I get you! I love your enthusiasm on every piece in your apartment. When each and everything around you means something, you really can call it home. That is a one of a kind art collection and I cracked up when you said, (To Michael, you are a very special man, I love you, Elizabeth Taylor) and you go on to say, "I was knocked out, I mean it was Elizabeth Taylor!" I believe I was just as excited when I got my first (designer) Michael Kors bag! I guess everything is relative. Great tour! Great apartment! Thanks for sharing! 💙🖤

@Jacob bjerregaard you don't have to take the word minimalist to extremes. I understand your thought...he is far from what we know as an extreme minimalist.. however, his style is in deed minimal. His style is simple, modern and sparse. minimalism noun min·i·mal·ism | \ˈmi-nə-mə-ˌli-zəm \ Definition of minimalism 1 : a style or technique (as in music, literature, or design) that is characterized by extreme spareness and simplicity 2 : MINIMAL ART

Of many AD open doors, I like Michael's more than others. The taste and arrangement is evident with his training, his talent and of course his fame. The color palettes are very New York, cold, industrial, busy, but he used greens and different textures to make it feel like a home. So many photos, I also love photos and books.
