I am seriously thinking about it. So far I like the Boston in blue, it looks like the buckle can be resized to increase bulk room.

You are so welcome! And thank you for your compliments. I did use a one hole puncher and it was very difficult to punch. Lots of contortion and ugly faces were made in the process and with all my dividers, that was a lot of holes to be punched! Sophia, NJ

You need my FC with 2 inch rings! :) Your planner is so customized it's really inspiring. Though I've always had a planner since college, I've never made it personal, and I'm just getting started.

Filofax does make a weekly diary with equal space for weekends - it's sold on their website. I like the width of FC's pages too, but not as crazy about their designs. As you pointed out, there's a lot of wasted space. Have you considered just getting an FC compact size binder, so the inserts don't stick out? They have some nice ones now in soft/flexible leather.

Also the FC compact binders have larger rings than FF; I think they're 1 inch. It seems like between that & the page size, you'd be happier with an FC compact system? I love your beautiful pages & creative ideas.

If you can find a vintage Cavendish Filofax on eBay, I believe they have 30mm rings. There are also sometimes Filofax Portland Grand binders, which also have 30mm rings, which are huge. Also, you could consider switching to the Franklin Covey compact size binders, which can go from 1 in. to 1.75 in. rings, and will fit the FC inserts with no overhang.

This is the best video I've seen on planners, thank you for sharing. I've tried several systems, but none have really worked so gave up on them. Though now seeing how you have yours, I'm seriously considering giving it one more try. In this video you mentioned the "JTD system", 'an ongoing list of all the things (you) want to do in (your) house'. Please, what is the JTD system, I've not heard of it, and tried a Google search and found nothing to do with 'to do' lists. I thank you for your time. Gretchen

Just make one and watch how you will become organized....it took me a long time to be organized and efficient and I am still not perfect....it is always a work in progress and you too can do it!

Right now you can buy a laminator at Costco for $19.99 and laminate your dividers and they will always stay nice. Just did mine and I love them. Can stick things on them too. ; )

Oops, ff and FCC sizes. I am not married to Filofax as a brand, I just want something that works for me.and as long as ff does not make the personal with a larger ring option, I think I will never be happy.
