I love the fact that you use your planner to actually PLAN and not as a scrapbook for decorations and nonsense. This is a great video. Thanks for posting.

Hi Sophia, just wanetd to let you know I bought my Franklin Covey planner in classic chocolate brown and I love it. I Used to use Filofax years ago but I stopped using them for the cost. This one cost me around $89 complete with the day on two pages agenda and starter kit inserts. It is a great system and I am happy!

Just got a Franklin Covey... very excited to set it up. The Dave Ramsey thing ,.. I am not so sure I could use that. I don't have any credit cards, my vehicles are paid for. I only have monthly living expenses, with nothing to pay off. Love all the little details you do to make your planner yours. I hope I can do the same for myself. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed this video. It gave me a lot of great ideas for redoing my planner. I also use a franklin covey planner- but it is a zippered one. I love, love, love how you tied the home management section in. I have a home management notebook but like the idea of having everything in one space.

Thank you new friend. I love to hear you speak and want to continue to follow you You tube posts. I have been using a day timer and it is not working, so I am glad to hear about your Franklin planner. It is especially important for me to understand how to manage my household if something happens to my husband. This may sound different especially since we are both in our 70's and retired, living on social security and a small pension. I want to be a better wife and be ready for anything. I enjoy all you posts. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for sharing all of this planning you've done. Very impressive. In Australia, I discovered that the credit card I had didn't accept my twice a month payment. What I mean is the required minimum of $300 due on 30th of the month I was paying $150 on 15th and 30th of the month. I thought it a wise move both for not spending the payment and for reducing, even if slightly, some interest on the card. After I discovered I was paying a $20 fee for late payment 3 months in a row, I rang them. A lovely woman explained that unless I paid the minimum required ($300) on the expected date i will incur the charges, and of course extra interest on it. Naturally, paying the amount in full was an instant fix but not one I could do at the time. Splitting the payment over two weeks proved an unwise move. I assume that all credit cards are the same. I guess I am the last to know. I am also guessing it isn't a problem for you or anyone else?

I pay 25% on each of my recurring bills each week. Example: My cellular service is $80/month, so I pay $20 each week. That way I don't have large chunks of money coming out of my account at one time and, by the time the bill is due, it is paid. I actually have a credit balance on many monthly bills (gas, electric, water, cellular) so that, if I have to miss a month, I am not in arrears.

This is one great video. Saw the first one also and had to get the planner. Got it in blue. Got a good price as well. You explained everything so well. I had several planners previously but just can't seem to get them to work for me. I get all excited about using them and then don't follow through. I really need to have something to keep track of dates and other things and actually use it and make it work. Hopefully this one will work. I am anxious to download your pages too. Your explanations were very well done.

THANK YOU, DEAR ! MULTSUMESC (thank in romanian) ! It was so useful for me, to inspire for (finally) my new planner that i project now, to be for my personal needed, as creative person, to have enough space to write on it and ti find quickly my things to do... I never had a real planner, i want now to have, but first of all to find my own one, in my style and for my projects! I will try to do my best! I noticed some ideas from you, i find them so clear and so managed, of course, i will add more of my stuff and ideas, but you make me more clear how to do that on your video! You are very brave ! You did a very big work on your planner, i know, and you feel gorgeous about it and you are gorgeous! God bless you ! (may be my english is not so correct , but i hope you understood me)

You mention that you wanted to make the pay period for you and your husband but the 3D dots did not work well. Have you looked into Mark it Dots. They are dot that are flat stickers, but they come in different colors and sizes. Check them on (i have found them on amazon).

Since I watched this video for the first time I have been searching for that planner. It is no longer on the Franklin Covey website in that color or that size. I love the size of those rings. I agree with you that it makes a big difference when you are wanting to store quite a few subjects in it. Even though I dearly love my A5 Filofax Holborn I am getting close to a time where I will need more space. I would love to purchase the Boston model that you own. If you hear of ANYONE that carries that model in that size please let me know. Thanks again for a great video..... ; )

I just ran across a couple of your planner videos. Yes, they are old, but I enjoyed them. Are you still using your planner? If so, maybe do a video on it again. I liked that you are not overdoing the stickers. I am interested in functional planning. The stickers makes the pages look nice, but not functional, at least not for me. But everyone to their own.
