Everybody in malayalam and Tamil cinema has a good body of work. Superstar or so called character actors all have movies that benefit them. Even comedians like Suraj Venjaramoodu(malayalam cinema) or Vadivelu(Tamil cinema) are getting work that is both comedy and drama. They have variety of films that serve their talent than what bollywood has to offer Nawazuddin. Nawazuddin could've easily been a Vijay Sethupathy, but he's relegated to low budget films that doesn't have good promotions and when he's in popular films he's an awful actor. Sacred games is one of those films that he's remembered more than Saif ali khan.

@@Finnola thanks for elaborating. Majority of the Hindi audience understanding of cinema is only about heroes. While south too has that kind of audience, there are also ample amount of cinephiles too, especially in Kerala and TN as you said. Hence actors like Soori, Suraj, joju, Vijay Sethupathi enjoy success and stardom too. The great Irfan Khan who was celebrated in the Hindi belt, never enjoyed a box office blockbuster status when he was in the lead. Thats a sad fact

Prithviraj Kapoorji, Dev Anand ji, Dilip Sahab, Raj Kapoor sahab, actresses like Madhubala ji, waheeda rehman ji and all such people led to a breakthrough in the industry and people started watching films….

Sneha has a rare talent; no ego and no need for attention for the sake of attention itself. She earns her name. Her interviewing tempo is extraordinary.
