But let’s not forgot we were only getting payed 6.80 a hour apprentice wage so we would have to get a second job to pay to do our projects up which cost alot more to do then it does now ! State of it... NZ has always had the best selection of cars to have a bit of fun with and we waste them on drunks doing pissy skids in some intersection, acting like those side show clowns in America. Bring it back to 20-30 years ago, sure wasn't always legal but at least there was more emphasis on people turning up to legit events like 4 n Rotas etc. Plus they actually knew how to style cars decently, unlike now. Don't ever get the "skid scene" confused with drifters or other car enthusiasts, these types are just in it for the next quick thrill.

As a Kiwi car guy. I hate these invasions. 2 or 3 cars heading to a inty is algood and controllable but this many people and then all crowding the road. Gets me nervous. More pads and tracks are needed. Slow down on creating cycle lanes that don't get used and give the boys some concrete with barriers ECT to keep spectators safe.
