Seeing this documentary makes me feel sad about the insecurity and mismanagement in Nigeria, it was so heartwarming seeing such beautiful sights and happy people, Minjbr has to be my favorite part of the video, I wish you got to see the animals

thank you so much! really wish i got to see the animals, The insecurity in Nigeria is a major fallback in the tourism sector, really wish things could be better! 🙏

Yeah, I see why someone said they cried after watching the video. In the 90s, the Durbar would pull in tourists from as far away as America. Before all the insecurity and economic hardships of today. The vibrance of colours from the outfits was always quite a sight to behold and the drama of the Dogorai (Palace guards) and co was always exciting especially for kids. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the drone work ... All stellar!! My favourite part was definitely Minjibr. Almost felt like ...... It was really good! Kudos bruv!

I'm speechless, blown away, overwhelmed with emotions, ashamed of how little I know of my country, yet fascinated and intrigued all at once! Brilliant doesn't begin to define the work you have done here. The minister of tourism for Kano needs to lay their hands on this and pay you some cool cash because many people, myself included, will be visiting the north thanks to your excellent work. God bless and a huge WELL DONE!

You are a great cultural ambassador for Nigeria. You have a super power, continue to use it for the sole benefit of Nigeria. We must tell our own stories so our story telling can be the defining narrative. We must be the primary purveyors of our own cultural experience. We know what happens when foreign media who have their own agenda fell African stories. I salute you.

I literally had goosebumps all over me. Never knew that the northern part of Nigeria is this breath-taking and beautiful. Lagos born and brought up, we swallowed hook line and sinker all the blood cuddling pictures of Northen Nigeria filled with beggars, flies and the most dreaded diseases told as stories and re-echoed by the media.😢 Right now, I feel so ashamed of myself😮😮 Will definitely make amends. I need to go out of my comfort zone and explore more. I throughly enjoyed the Durbar festival and would have loved to be at the clothe-dye sight too! It's mind boggling to hear how long it's been in existence! I must commend your courage and fearlessness in doing this, considering the security situation. Kudos to you and your crew. You guys are doing a fantastic job! Keep at it bro🎉🎉 And so sorry about your phone.
