Dobetoons just said "Joy didn't grow in the 2nd film" The hell do you mean! Joy literally acknowledge the other emotions as part of riley's life including sadness, she lets sadness see the belief system because she never seen it and Joy trusts her now, she even let sadness go back to headquarters because she trusts her enough to know that she could fix this just by reading the manuals to know how to fix things, even the part where Joy snap at the other emotions because of the complaining, expectations put on from her and trying so hard to stay positive because she's the team leader and getting all that responsibility is really starting to get to her. the tube that Joy uses to get all the bad memories to the back of her mind because riley never has to think about it again not because she's controlling again because everyone really has so many memories that we do not get to think about ever again because it's embarrassing, also she believes she thinks that it's good for Riley and belief system because they believe that she is a good person and Joy is doing what she's best for her. At the end of the film she did acknowledge that she did the same thing of what anxiety did, she knows that maybe this isn't what Riley wanted. Riley knows she's a good person but she has so many flaws, and that makes her human, thats why Joy rips the old belief system to the new belief system which is all the emotions. That speech of what Riley said really started hit me emotionally. Joy might be a bit controlling but at least she acknowledges all the emotions including sadness I usually don't mind what people say in reviews in this movie but when he said at the end that Joy didn't grow in the 2nd film really started to bother me.

i watched the film last week i was in a bad place and i had a major anxiety attack and watching this film made me cry hard and seeing rylee have one and seeing what happened inside her head made feel a little bit better 😢😊
