I know Karl is anti-indian now. He cut out the part with the guy carrying a TV because he was rude toward him when Karl said Hi. Only in India does Karl show negative aspects (dont bring up the drug thing, because that exists everywhere). Karl is probably hired by Pakistans propaganda minister I think it would be more fun and honest to show rude people too And if you got cured of depression by a youtube video, then you never had depression lol

@Nonameisperfect I was happy to get off my Super Nintendo and into the PS1. I like wrestling, GTA, and shooters. So Nintendo never really Impressed me. Then I got Halo and that converted me to Xbox, as well as them having the best shooter line up. I was never into Japanese games. But I’ve always owned a PS for the great exclusives. I bought a Switch OLED only a few months ago (a video is coming about that store). Breath of the Wild is amazing 🤩 So I’m enjoying the Switch atm, cause I don’t have a TV currently.

@@KarlRock How can Pakistani cities be safe and the same as other cities in the world if they make women cover up and not show their faces on camera? Woke leftists will demand illegal immigrants from Pakistan be allowed to receive benefits because leftists believe all humans are equal. I don't understand the obsession people have with wanting to see women all the time everywhere, kind of concerning.

There were a lot of smuggle Russian stuff in these markets like electronics, fabrics, karakri, stationery, Russia army uniforms and boats etc and of course original "AK47". I still remember that time as a kid. The russian air conditions, fridge and TVs were the most famous items among the other in Peshawari people. This is true, but the small percentage that aren't so nice see a western white man as the ultimate prize. Only takes one to end it all and nobody will come looking for him in that part of the world. It's cool he does this but would be silly to ignore the fact he's in a very dangerous place for a westerner. Probably about as dangerous as it gets for a man like him.

Thank you Karl for this film of Peshawar. Do you think that this huge out of town market has displaced much trade from the Old City? When you showed us the Chitral bazaar I thought that there were many people making things, whereas this market seemed to trade Chinese imports. I was lucky to have seen Landi Khotal market in 1973, transiting from UK to India, saw a few guns then and dope. I wonder if the route through Afghanistan from Iran will open now there is a new Govt in Afghanistan?

Hey! You're right, this market is for imported stuff. Chitrali Bazaar was really traditional and had artisans. I was trying to buy a Chainuk (teapot) at Karkhano, but it simply was not available and I had to go to Qissa Khawani Bazaar (near Chitrali Bazaar) to get that because it's made in Multan. The next video will show a famous restaurant in this market too. Thanks for the comment.
