damn that ems station is a dream compared to mine lol. 90% of my station is garage space and the rest is for the the pencil pushers. although we’re out in a super busy area running 40k ems runs a year so i can relate with spending my whole 24 hour shift in the rig.

These are nice stations. But I'm not really big on the massive stations. In my county we are private EMS, so we share stations with firefighters but we have 3 of our own stations. I love the feeling of having one right at their own station where that crew has time to eat, sleep, train, and just relax while waiting for calls.

Mike, while a bit further away in Findlay, Ohio. You should check out Hanco EMS. Now owned by Blanchard Valley (Hospital) Health System it is the only EMS for the City of Findlay and Hancock County Ohio. This year is Hanco's 50th anniversary. They run ALS and BLS rigs out of two stations. I am one of Hanco's original crew from 1971 thru 1983 when we had 3 units, one Superior Coach van and two Superior Coach Caddy's

1500 a year isn’t that much, depending On the area covered. My local volunteer EMS squad does 3000 calls a year out of one station with 4 ambulances (sometimes only 3 are staffed all depends on when volunteers are available) and 1 fly car. They serve a population of nearly 50,000 people.
