yeah..tired of these huge track counts that can easily be done and sound great with half or less of all those tracks...i got a session that had 12 tracks of the exact same guitar part....all the guitars had these ridiculous track counts, hell I had like 70 tracks of just guitars ...I refused it and returned his deposit...my personal recording style is to set up my templates as an analog studio using whatever console emulation I want to hear (brainworx primarily) and using that console as my heavy hitter and bring in other tools as needed..kick, snare, vocal...like you I like la2a a lot..I recently bought a Warm audio 1073 style pre and eq and it's fabulous, I love it... as far as tracks go, I rarely go above 50 . Have a good one

Hey Emily, i purchased a previous protools template were you use lots of multi routing on individuals instruments, i meam kick went to stereo bus and to drum bus dist drum bus and so on and now it seems you just routing via send. Is this a new aproach or an updating to keep the things simpler? If so, i will purchase the template.

Hey Rick! You are correct! I am using sends now. For two reasons: 1. I have adapted this template to some other DAWs that do not work with multiple outputs from the audio tracks. 2. I started using the sends in pre-fader and just really liked how it worked with the parallels. Great question! Thanks so much for being here!
