Not too sure about having the band playing in the control room, must be very difficult to differentiate the sound in the studio and what exactly you are recording, or are all the studio engineers wearing headphones ??

Not sure if they do, but the Main Room has a fantastic sonic treatment anyway, there are panels everywhere and diffusors in the ceiling.

Hey, well you would hope that. But glass seems to always be something to avoid as I understand, please someone correct me if they know better. I understand they wanted the "vibe" but thats why I ask because Im hoping to construct my studio and im dealing with the same issue.

@@MarcoMalfario Glass is just very bad at absorbing sound, so you probably wouldn't want to have a lot of glass windows in the recording space. But remember that the traditional studio always has a wall separating the live room and control room, with a large window. (unlike Peter Gabriel's studio, where the live room and control room are not separated). With adequate acoustic treatment that most decent studios have, that one glass window shouldn't have much of an effect on reflections.

I stopped watching at 30 seconds in when that intro music (with whistling/vocals) carried on under the dialogue, really distracting.
