Thanks for highlighting this issue with a long-form video! One issue I would very much like to see/hear addressed is a solution for recycling GRP. Nay-sayers cite our hypocrisy given the boating industries reliance on plastic for most of our boats hulls and components. Yes, a well made GRP/e-glass boat can last for decades, but abandoned boats, storm-damaged boats, and the waste from maintenance and refits usually just end-up as highly visible pollutants in our coastal communities.
