Every year whitewater legend and Green Race local, Shane Benedict from Liquidlogic Kayaks covers the Green Race for us at Kayak Session Magazine.
Organizers managed to talk to the power company, and water is now guaranted with the perfect water levels for the 3 days prior to the race. Shane is the happiest man on earth finally able to share the stoke, talking to racers at Gorilla, commenting sweet lines, and off course yelling while paddlers take beaters! Hang out with Shane chatting with the crowd and watching a lot of hardcore racers bomb through Gorilla.

Dane is always a great interview. I'm surprised he's not in politics. He could run in the "all things are solved by kayaking" party. Shane Benedict is, of course, the perfect interviewer for any race. And holy moo-cow, speed trap was sticky this year! Gotta love the Green Race. It's just the best race to watch out of all of them, including the Oetz.
