Elvis did keep a lot. His father can be thanked as well for keeping all receipts and records of purchases throughout his life that luckily we're able to see Angie talk about and show us now! It was said he was so meticulous because he didn't want to lose or mess up anything. Vernon was pretty much in charge of all day to day expenses.

I enjoy seeing the archives. I also enjoyed the "Hidden Graceland" series. I was wondering if there would ever be a video tour of one of the least talked about parts of Graceland which is the gate house or guard house? There's probably some cool history tidbits there. I think that Elvis' uncle worked there for many years. It would be very interesting and I don't think anyone has ever made a video about it.

If you haven't seen the Graceland floorplan, his closet is the room where the two windows of the house face the street on the right side (above the dining room) and it's pretty much the size of his bedroom, but opposite of it, with his bathroom in between. In essence, his wing takes up the entire front half of the house with an office, changing room for his women, and Lisa's room taking up the rest of the upstairs. There was supposedly a bed in there for a bodyguard?! That's just going by what the floorplan said. You can KZbin a video where it has pictures of his room and bathroom, but not the closet unfortunately. It also shows how the furniture was laid out in each room.

I wonder do they have the hat he took straight off the head of Chris Marshon in around 74? He called her over to the car , motioned to her to bend down into the window. She probably thought she was getting a kiss, he took the hat off her head and drove out the gate. A friend of mine was there with Chris and she took two photos. He wore the thing all the time. Chris cursed him ‘ he just took my Hat!!’ So funny.
