What's amazing to me is how many things (Clothes,jewelry,receipts,etc) were saved by Elvis and his dad.Most people give things away or it gets lost.Mesmerizing how much has been kept!

Ah thank you angie showing us Elvis scarfs he did love them it so nice that you can show it will be a great exhibit it’s great as a lot of people can’t visit because of COVID to get to go to Graceland so this is great I know it’s not the same as being there but it does bring a bit of Graceland to us hopefully in time when things get better people will be able to come back and visit a very special place

Hello from England ELVIS packed a lot into his short life. Even as a young boy in pictures that i have seen he was SO STYLISH. I guess he would get his clothes from what i would call vintage/charity shop. This was a few years before LANSKY'S. If i am a little out please correct me. I also am led to believe that at school he was bullied for what he wore. ELVIS was different That is what made him popular Many of the young people who went to see Elvis from say 1970-77 will only be in their 60's now and the lucky ones who got scarves must still have them i hope. There must be so much "stuff" still out there that people have kept. Lucky people I have a few vintage Hermes scarves made in France which i wear but if i had a big house i would frame them as they are truly works or art There was a designer of scarves from Italy called Emilio Pucci and was he was well known in the 60's and earlier Who made the Italian Scarves?

The attic and the area above the barn. There used to be about 5 or 6 trailers in the back of Graceland that were discarded of over the past few years as well. Billy Smith and Tish Henley lived in them as well as others over the years when Elvis was alive.
