After 5 injections since 2020 I finally succumbed to Covid, and have been feeling like crap for the last two days. This video took my mind off my miseries and was a lot of fun. …I’m living proof that you don’t need to understand everything about these machines in Oder to fix them. …Years ago I made a whole head for a Kings &Queens. I made the insert panel, measured for the light globe sockets, and wired it up just like the one I was copying from…Bam! After a couple of weeks I plugged it in and guess what??…It worked!…just like a bought one. I was so happy I pulled it off, and mostly without a great electrical knowledge…..Simply, If the relays are clean and adjusted, AND the steppers work right, then theoretically the machine will work…every time! Thanks for this fun series.

Nice pitch and bat. I remember seeing tons of these back when I was a kid. I fondly remember the Williams early 1970's baseball machines that used some kind of 8-track tape player for sound.

JOE, When using Sandpaper on the Jonesplugs & Rivets on the Stepper Unit, the sandpaper is "leeching" off the silver plating which isn't good? Leeching off the silver plating off the termination causing a higher resistance between the contacts/connection causing more heat. Its like having a loose wire connection at a terminal which the loose connection will have higher resistance causing more heat and a voltage drop.

@LyonsArcade I have been told to use tarnish remover called tarn-X using pipe cleaner or soaking the whole stepper unit rivets or Jones plugs in tarn-X. Instead of using 60% Tin and 40% lead solder is to use Silver solder. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

After 50 plus years that plating is probably worn off anyway and honestly I've seen plenty games that don't have any obvious plating to begin with

So much fun watching you repair this machine - and I was just as interested in the schematics as you were! 👍🙂 While you were playing it, I never say the "3" light come on under the Outs section - is there no light bulb behind that (I.E., they just don't light it up), or is it a burned out bulb or other issue keeping it from coming on? Looking forward to the next video on this machine!

If I knew where the screw went, yes I could put it back. I can only assume you are having an off day, because you are the one that is coming off as completely over the top. I watch your videos because they are light hearted and entertaining.
