There is only 2 QBs that are instant upgrade over lock and both of them will be gone before we pick, and Paton knows that. I truly believe he's grabbing a defensive stud or going with the safe pick and getting a top tier tackle (Sewell) if they fall to 9. Cant rule out the trade back either, if the board doesn't pan out like he wants. We are not one piece away from a superbowl, we need depth all over still.

In my opinion the only 2 QBs who would be instant upgrades are Lawrence and Fields. Lawrence has been locked in at one for quite some time, and i think san fran is picking Fields. Wilson looks like another Sam Darnold for the jets, and Trey Lance is a project QB. If we had someone like Manning still Lance would be a great pick but we dont need 2 QBs and not know if either of them is the guy. As someone alot smarter than I am once said; "If you got 2 QBs, you have zero QBs." Run it with lock and keep stocking this team with talent across the board!

@@tombosley3048 Yeah man I see a lot of Sam Darnold in Wilson too. I saw a lot of Mark Sanchez in Darnold as well. It's a messed up cycle they have going on over there. I'm so curious to see who makes it in 5 years. My guess is Trey Lance, Mac Jones, and maybe Trevor Lawrence. I'm super on the fence with Fields, he'll either a superstar on day 1 or be that guy who is on his 7th team in year 12 because this coach thinks he can unlock his potential lol I guess at the end of the day the situation they go to is super important. Whoever goes to the 49ers will be a success and if a team like the Bears trade up to get a QB, he'll be a failure whoever it is.

Showing Tylan Wallace’s vertical clip gets me excited. As an Oklahoma State fan I’m a little bias, but I think he is going to be great in the NFL. I think he is the most underrated WR/player in the draft. Would be great to see him in a Broncos hat when he is drafted.

Why are you guys advocating for micah parsons? Dude has character concerns, not to mention thus draft is very loaded on LB, and getting a guy like jabril cox or Jamin Davis on round 2 is incredibly possible. Only pick at 9 that makes sense is a QB and a CB, and an OL if a guy like slater falls. If we're going by taking the best player available, its definitely justin fields if he's there. Stop with this micah parsons stuff.

All of the other QBs are way too raw to trade up or spend #9 on. Better off rolling with Lock, seeing if he improved, and if not then acquire a QB next year.
