I watched it last week and I'll watch the movie again. I love all this actors. Nico Santos and Awkwafina were funny. As Asian American in the US, I am so proud that Asian actors now have a place in Hollywood and the movie is a box office hit.

Saw the film last night -- it's awesome. Everyone should see it! It's so important, as Awkwafina says, "that's the power of representation." While I was teaching Anthropology to university students from across Asia last year, one of my Master's students asked, what is Anthropology? It came to me so clearly in that moment, sitting on the lawn outside the library: I said, "we analytically explore the Power to Represent. Who has the power to represent? How is that power used? Who gets to be seen? Who is not seen? Whose voices are heard? Who is in the margins? Whose stories are told? There is a market for this story, and everyone will be able to relate to it as Henry Golding says. Michelle Yoeh puts it best when she delivers her perspective, saying "... I'm watching a beatiful story with characters who happen to be Asian." A couple in love raising the questions of who is "good enough" for one family, is one of the oldest stories; that said, this old story is done in a new beautiful way. Thank you John Chu and cast, for representing with such grace, positivity, love, genuine affection, and charm. Peace.

I'm white English 100% . I love Asia and have travelled through China, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam etc. The thing about this movie that your all forgetting is this, it's a beautiful movie with a wonderful cast. Singapore as Malaysia is multi cultural, this is a love story representing that, if your against mix race cast then don't watch it, go to Guangzhou and watch a Chinese movie

It was so refreshing watching a film like this with the kind of characters it portrayed. I laughed a lot and was blown away by some of the scenes. I cant wait for the other ones! I want to watch it again. The soundtrack is awesome too

I love these interviews from great actors. I loved the movie. I felt it was a fantastic movie that happened to have Asian actors who gave incredible performances & Singapore backdrop magnificent. I noticed also in the theatre all ages watching. Families were brought together. Thank you Jon Chu for making such a meaningful movie.
