Gonna have to disagree Berchelt is a way better boxer, Valdez has a way better chance to fight on the inside and land a big shot. Look at Berchelts only loss

@@ryancolbourne1919 Berchelt can box and has longer arms than Valdez but if Valdez can bait Berchelt to come forward and throw wide shots like he usually does and leaves his chin in the air, then he's got a good chance. Valdez still has a chance on the inside but seeing the amount of damage he's taken pre Reynoso , it's better for his health.

Valdez needs to be selective with his shots instead of just letting his hands fly. Keep his defense tight and try to dictate the pace. Either be out of reach, or inside. Smother Berchelts punches because Valdez has better technique and leverage inside. Cant be at the end of Berchelt’s punches where he delivers most power. If they go to war, I think Berchelt will thrive. But who knows, maybe Berchelts chin will crack if he gets caught with a good counter.

I think it could be a good fight, Valdez has the speed advantage, but i think Berchelt has the stylistic edge with that reach. For me , Valdez has to pressure berchelt to win because i think berchelt fights better at distance. Ultimately, Valdez needs to really show improvement as he hasn't impressed me in his last couple of fights; he has a tendency to rely too much on hooks and loading up. Berchelt is a smart fighter who is underrated defensively, while Valdez defense has been suspect. Overall, its a competitive fight with a slight edge to Berchelt
