Whitney Houston was one of the biggest singing stars of her generation, but her life was cut short 10 years ago when she was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel. Now, we’re learning more about the tragic circumstances of her final days. She was staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in the days leading up to the 2012 Grammys, where she was set to perform. Inside Edition spoke with Gerrick Kennedy, author of the new book “Didn’t We Almost Have It All: In Defense of Whitney Houston.”

10 years already. What a tragedy. Truly one of the greatest voices ever. Her rendition of the National Anthem during the halftime of the Super Bowl is beyond reproach. Of course "I will Always Love You" is one of the greatest songs ever. The world lost a great one when Whitney passed.

Yes! That was the most amazing renditions of the National Anthem ever. Such a beautiful voice.💓🌹 I thought it was disrespectful of the man who discovered her, Clive Davis and all the others who thought it was appropriate to attend his pre-Grammy party after learning she'd died.

No! He does NOT have a personal connection with her. He doesn't know anymore about her & her life than what the media has given people all these years. He has taken info from media, tabloids, other info from movies, documentaries, & books already out......and created his own pages. Very tacky & distasteful. The one person that definitely knew this woman....from her teen yrs, actually spent time, close time, and was around her regularly on a daily basis from the time Whitney was 16, is her best friend, ex-lover, & confidant Robyn Crawford! I purchased her memoir from 2019, on Audible, and it is a GREAT read! Very truthful, loving, an honest! If anybody wants to know the truth about Whitney, her family, & her life....all the way to her death, this is the memoir you want to purchase. A Song for you, My Life With Whitney Houston.....by Robyn Crawford. And she actually is speaking herself in this audio version of her book! Another truthful one is by her mom Cissy Houston.......Whitney's life from birth to her passing! I will not be purchasing any other books about Whitney from any of these money grabbing folks out here, cause there is nothing else to talk about.....and nothing new!

Remember the song “I’m your baby tonight” was recorded in one take. She wanted to get to the mall before it closed.

It’s a pity people didn’t make all this fuss of her when she was alive! She might still be here today..
