Dealers selling the $50-60k car for $80-100k is not going to work well for the market they were trying to hit. It's not a $100k car. People will go for the used R35 over a stock Z that's essentially just a V3.0 of the 350Z and 370Z

Drove a 1200 bhp GTR around a track in March. It is an absolute beast. The turbo flutter, the Gforce it puts on you, the grip it has even on average tires is amazing. I also used a Gallardo at the same track with less than half the power, its trash compared to GTR. Any person throwing dirt on this car is absolutely stupid. The Lexus LF-A has come and gone but the GTR still lives. Production has been slow and steady for quality so that everyone who really wants one can still get one, not like a Moritzo GR Corolla that you can't even obtain because all 200 will be going to racers who got deep pockets. Watching that engine being built is like watching a Grand Seiko getting put together. High end Japanese value versus the unreliability of the rest of the world.
