Tbh, I like that this song can be listened to, by anyone. Sure, it's supposed to be a Christian song, and I'm somewhat of a Christian, but for a while, I couldn't put my finger on it. I didn't know, and I don't care today, because all I know is, that it is a great song from a great band. I like that they don't make it that god is mentioned, like a thousand times, like in so many Christian songs, but that this song is not directly telling of whom they talk about. This makes the song sharable. Anyone can like it, if Christian or not

Man, the sound guy didn't do him any favors. No reverb or EQ, and it almost sounds as if it's clippping at times. Add to that the fact that it looks like he's standing in a tight closet and I wouldn't be surprised if he's uncomfortable as hell. I'd never wanna sing under those circumstances but he makes the best of it because he's awesome.

It sounds like he runs out of breath and just continues with the next word. All the live performances that I've seen by LP are good, just plain good.

They're in drop D man, that's all I know, hope that's a little bit. And I'm sure you can play this tuning in standard too. But if you wanna get an idea of the chords they're playing, look up Flints21's cover of this song, it's pretty accurate.
