I make that much being a stripper and I only work 12 hrs a week, and ppl arent allowed to talk to me outside of work, I can tell any client who disrespects me or acts entitled to fuck off and say no to anything I dont want and am uncomfortable with. Amd I'm not even in a big city. Cooks work way more hours with way more stress for way more entitled ppl- and cant even yell someone ofd unless they eanna damge their careers lol. You can not believe how stressful it is to be one. I currently working for one now in thailand you will need to come up with new menu every meals. All of them have differents diet. One for body builder, another for low diet calories and sugar and last for non veg diet. The time they eat the meal between the day also unpredictable, event and party is on or off mostly you can never tell. Ps.I'm just sharing experiences by no means complaining. If you looking to be one of private chef for high net worth ppl. Therichest really on point.

This kind of job is 300k-500k plus a year. All those languages , travel and phony attitudes are awful. I've worked around millionaires and billionaires and they could never compensate for some of the crap they say. God bless the chefs.
