Im 46, i havent played video games since i was 15 and i started playing fortnite for the first time so i could play games with my son who lives 1000 miles away....... I SUCK at fortnite but,,, watching your videos has helped me a ton !!!! Especially learning to sprint slide to conserve energy & then shoot on a sprint slide, to attack instead of run, using "mobility" items like this vid was about...... I always wanted to use the biggest weapons i could find but i started to use lesser weapons like the pistol & shotgun more effectively.... Good stuff here for anyone else newer to the game like me.

I would lose every single one of the fights in this video. I'll never understand how Jake does it. I can have a full health, gold weapons, get the first 4 shots off and some dude with a green shotgun will run at me and kill me with 2 shots and game over. So my strategy is to NEVER fight. If I fight, its game over. I've been playing for four years now.

Definitely your reactions are great to unexpected situations. The guy jumping out of the box, the guy on the roof that you accidentally swapped weapons and still killed him, the guy ratting and trying to snipe you when you opened the vault. Those are all situations I'd likely be back to the lobby. Sets apart the decent players from the really good players.

Your aim is insane! I practice my aim constantly and I’m not anywhere near that accurate. I also wish I could get my movement down like your’s. I’m constantly running out of sprint despite my efforts to manage it better. I just can’t take advantage of hopping like you do to keep momentum going. Every video you’re flying across the entire map like AC/DC is playing in the background; and I’m still trying to get to the next POI, stuck in the slow run, jumping and sliding like an idiot, while a toddler sings “doo doo doo; doo doo doo” because I’m still waiting for my sprint energy to build back up. I know you had a grappler and shockwave launcher in this video, but every video shows you moving so fast.

I tried using the chug cannon on a wall yesterday and it did the same thing for me...just shot into oblivion. I also ran with just a sniper and a pistol the whole game and ended up winning, pistol is amazing.

I started playing during Chapter 5-3 (Missing Aphrodite and Peter will forever hurt me), so having a "new" map and no gimmicks was kinda refreshing Still, the map is too big and wasn't made for zero build in mind, so I'd give the chapter 2 remix a 7/10!

I give the chapter 2 of remix season a 8 out of 10. I like the grapplers and the boss poi’s. Catty corner is a fun drop spot. Always plenty of action. Jake mentioned how to use it a few vids ago and I figured it out. It’s powerful. I got 18 eliminations my last win after landing there. Going for my 20 bomb!!! Someday maybe.

This season is a 6/10 for me. I didn’t play chapter 2, so going to hitscan was quite the shift. The biomes are less interesting IMO, but I’ve still played a decent amount. Still love the game!
