@@Sheseasyouthere So true. Pray if you want to but people make laws. Right now, birth control is being threatened. Poverty was supported by too many children, too many parents dying from every imaginable reason and unable to better support children. Not using birth control is part of the reason kids are running the streets murdering each other because either their parents are working too much or are missing altogether. People are abusing children because we are not insisting on tougher laws against those that do. We are not upset enough that law enforcement is not using every means possible to convict child abusers. Just because a child survives doesn't mean the crimes against them were not heinous enough. Most children die from an assault because the perp is trying to prevent them from crying for help. So is this manslaughter? Some think so, wrongly. The crimes itself could kill the child. If they die in order to commit the crime it is still murder. There is no mercy involved when a child is being assaulted like that.

The legal system has wrongly treated abused children for centuries. Refusing to employ all of the tools available to convict child rapist is yet another crime against child victims. So few ever s saw a courtroom. Those that did saw plea bargaining greatly reduce the extent of the damage these criminals inflicted upon their victims. This empowered crimes against children. Children still have few resources to turn to, to escape being abused, especially when their abuser is a family member or close to the family. Most child victims who do prosecute are rejected by family members as traitors instead of heroes. It is yet another painful blow child victims must learn to accept in order to build a better life for themselves. It is the duty of our legal system to use every means possible to gather evidence to put these horrible criminals into cages where they belong. Pedophiles cannot stop themselves from threatening their victims. So wiretapping, setting them up with like minded perverts will get the confession to convict them. Children should not have to just live in a world where we allow sexual perverts to hunt among them.
@brokenlegs84312 жыл бұрын
The reason child abuse is so poorly persecuted is because many of those in higher levels abuse kids themselves. Why put a proper system in place that makes it harder for to do the same things? Why set yourself up for greater legal issues if you get caught?
@kenyonbissett35122 жыл бұрын
My son and I were talking about pedophiles aka child sexual abusers. We came to the conclusion that the only thing that can be done is the “Mao Approach,” they all must die. No deals, no second offense because the first offense is death. No hiding behind child services as a family member committing the offense. Family’s who lose a “bread winner” would collect Social Security. Since the wife is attracted to abusers, any remarriage would need to be screened by the state to weed out abusers. No boyfriends allowed in the home as long as the children are present. Pimps and Johns of prostitutes under 18, die, no excuses allowed or accepted. Girls and boys who pass photography of nudes children under 18 on cellphones are subject to automatic required counseling and worse depending on the picture, drunk/drugged not excused. No marriages of children under 18 for any reason, no parental permission allowed. Children who have babies under the age of 18 must put the baby up for adoption but can be allowed visitation/written updates if 16 and over. The horror of child sexual abuse must be stopped.
@pennyc112 жыл бұрын
@@kenyonbissett3512 I support a lot of what you said. Though a pregnant minor has legal rights to their child if they choose not to terminate the pregnancy. If the mothers parents will not swear to help take responsibility for the child, it falls to the fathers family. If they will not then adoption is an option. This is because an orphaned child has a greater risk of being neglected or abused. Child abuse should be a minimum of 20 years. If it involves extreme violence, which would include sexual abuse. It should be 30 years to life. Depending on the damage done to the child. Registering as a sex offender only helps society after they reoffend or can be caught violating parole. No early release for convicted predators. Repeat offenders get life. Period. Death Penalty if the damage is severe to the child and results in lasting injuries that will effect the child for life. These are very serious crimes. There is help for those who have the urge to offend. If they choose to offend no one is guilty except the offender. You do not punish a bank because they keep money for tempting people to want to rob it. To dare to treat children for enticement is criminal. We support the law and expect it to help us keep our children safe from harm. Instead, laws have been written that protect criminals and shame child victims. Even worse, forcing children who seek protection from harm into the custody of their abusers often leading to the childs death. It is on us to insist on stiffer laws and that they be enforced.

Well said. We need to toughen our laws. Judges are given too much leeway in sentencing and Parole Boards are too protected from answering to why they are early releasing convicted sex offenders??? Of course they behave in prison. They have no access to more victims. Most of the most vile offenders have been convicted rapist who once released commit even worse crimes. Most of their victims being children or young adults. These Parole Boards need to answer for these crimes as well. So do the psychiatrists who claim these are reformed prisoners.

Please, get real. The crimes happened because lawyers had little incentive to prosecute these crimes. It was societies attitude toward females and children in the past. Allowing evidence to be tossed out of court. Refusing testimony from outside sources. Rape kits not processed and victims not being told of this fact and given the opportunity to pay to have them tested. It was the trafficking of young people and how many in every part of society that wanted to have sex with young people without prosecution. How many of you supported your rapist friends? Stated young people deserve to be raped if they dressed a certain way, went a little too far making out, no matter how young they were? Let us get real about this subject. I agree, friends need to stop lying for friends. Victims usually sue for money because lawyers can't find a Defence Department willing to allow them, our right, to present our cases in courts. Because so called honest citizens won't convict rapists. Because too many judges or juries so easily reduce charges to the point that not just is injustice for the victim(s) but for all of us because we are not seeing these perverts as they really are. They are not being sentenced by the extent of their crimes but by how much they, their families, their lawyers and judges can reduce their sentencing. Being hard-up for sex should not buy you any leniency in any courtroom but it has and does in the eyes of too many people. Society needs to wise up and stop allowing abusive people to force sex upon a person. There is no point of no return when it comes to sex. No one who doesn't say they are playing a rape game is asking to be raped non-verbally. A lot of young people are guilty, we know this. They can also point directly at the miseducation in our society that gave them permission to do so. Now? We are saying change the playbook or we are going to make your life hell. You want evidence? Women and the men who actually love women and children are learning that we need to step-up and unite against this kind if injustice in our society. We are centuries too late but better late than never. Things are going to change for the better. Only by our actions. Praying, wishing is for the weak. Only action makes the difference. No one. No child deserves to be abused. When they are? Such human beings need to be removed from society if we do not want or expect our children to grow up in fear or even worse, the target of a hideous pervert.

The consequence of not doing a thorough job in police work is, quite literally, innocent human lives.
@pennyc112 жыл бұрын
So much of what he is saying is exactly what I have tried to get people to understand about sex#al offenders. It is why we have to be more effective in reaching victims after an assault to gain evidence. Especially in incest cases. These are difficult because the victim is dependent on their abusers and the enablers. Investigators though need to focus on electronic devices to seal these cases. When dealing with incest or groomers, it shouldn't take much effort to record a criminal threatening their victims. These perps would be so much easier to expose using wire tapping when not at a police station. All I would hear is how difficult a confession is to get. As a child, I only wish I had a more vital part in the investigation. The very excuse I was given about my weakness as a victim in the eyes of a jury should have been recognized as my strength instead. I grumbled at hearing being an honor student I guess would look like I was a Criminal Minds expert. I wasn't fitting the profile of a victim. Looking back at how much evidence of abuse was all around the house. Our moving place to place. PE teacher confronting me about bruises. The utter failure of doctors not taking xrays to expose a broken tailbone. The board, the belt used to whip me with. No real conversation about our mothers testimony to break that all apart. People from school who got to know me. I never was told what questions my brothers were asked. I had a better case than sadly so many others did but because of my age. Because of my age. I still was not counciled properly. Yes, I didn't also know how I would react if we lost. I try to tell victims that going through the abuse is the worst thing you will have to endure. Going to trial is your opportunity to proclaim your innocence and expose to the world some evil people. It is the way to even hope to spare another victim. However, all of this hard work is for little if, well I knew it wasn't my pride that motivated me. It was my anger, because there was no legal way that I could inflict back on my abusers the pain, humiliation and suffering they got away with inflicting on me. It was a serious effort to prevent these monsters from hurting more children. Our legal system is only now being forced to prosecute these terrible criminals. The law and judges are so sadistic and priviledged that in almost every abuse sting, we find doctors, lawyers and judges engaging in this kind of abuse of children. The most glaring evidence has deffinately been arresting minor children for se# trafficking. I have learned and been educated by my abusers that this is the only way a minor child can support themselves. Basically teaching children the only escape from child abuse is submitting to more abuse. It is the only way a child can have any control over their lives. Soon the drugs come in because to endure such abuse, a child must have some outlet to help them escape their reality. Just as pathetic is how women have supported this behavior by demonizing these children who in their minds are rebelling against their control. We have allowed both the pimp and the enabler to still maintain an avenue of manipulation over vunerable children. It is so disgusting how we created a society that has accepted and supported either directly or indirectly the trafficking of children. We have allowed our legal system to be a revolving door for offenders. I have seen so many cases of those who first were convicted of attacking an adult get a weak sentence, out for good behavior because we have cut off their supply of victims to leave hunting for children instead. Why not? As parents we send our children out into the world with no protection. Maybe we might say don't talk to strangers, except the adults they encounter at school, at church, sports, babysitters. Then, if a child goes to their parent for protection? Good luck. Most have already bonded with the abuser. Family member, spouse, lover, friend. I found it too easy to turn a parent against their own child. The evidence is so prevalent that abusers often prove this as evidence to their victims, no one will make them stop. Not our legal system, not the adults around them. It isn't hard for many perps to build up a posse to help them victimize children. Much easier than trying the same with adults. This is the burden children of child abuse carry with them always. As long as our abusers are allowed to roam free. As long as they get to live, even if behind bars to teach other inmates, make mail friends. Spread and profit from their stories about abusing children. Our ancestors learned how to use children as negotiable cattle. Either as a means for profit or as someone they can easily shed by raising children to believe their survival depended on se#. The sooner a child could win another keeper, the better their lives would be. For males, the easier it is to commit a partner to take care of them. The better off they would be in life. So this problem stems in part from religious misdirection, ancient customs and bad intentions. Which in part is why birth control has become such an important part of our society. Science, technology when used effectively is how we solve crimes. However, until the human element that has been interfering in keeping predators off of our streets and a comprehensive shift in the value of a human being change this corrupted mind-set will still prevail.

Rapists are sickos. The fictional sociopathic character Phil Lawver in that story and film "Are you in the house alone?" for example. His two insane, unrealistic female stereotypes are whores or perfect angels.
