I live in Pennsylvania close to Lancaster and work in the construction industry. I have worked with many Amish and Amish adjacent people, and most are very hard workers and strong as heck! A weirdly common thing in a particular area in pa is amish concrete guys

It sucks to see a channel who has great intentions, and makes great content not get recognized, I hope you guys gain the recognition you deserve.

Hoosier here, where I live, the Amish don't want their pictures or videos taken.

Yep! That’s how it was for this area too, so having to do it this way was definitely a challenge, but worth it

I try to limit my subscriptions these days on youtube, reason being id rather wait for great content then consume lackluster content. You guys do an amazing job Passion is what seperates good content from great content.....keep up the work fellas ❤

Very interesting - thanks. I think they have on average 8 children. It would be interesting to know how many that family had although that might breach their privacy rights to disclose.

We asked them about this and they said they'll have as many children as God wills them to - definitely a different outlook and lifestyle but very interesting!

I'm half Amish on my mom's side and still keep in contact with my Amish relatives. Ask me anything
@dgwalters15 ай бұрын
You can’t be half Amish. Just like you can’t be half Scientologist or half Mormon. You’re either in the cult or you’re not
@rumjack52865 ай бұрын
@@dgwalters1 the Amish are not a cult, they read the same Christian Bible as the rest of us. After Rumspringa my grandfather did not join the church and get baptized. He was not shunned I've gone with to see his mother, we wore our normal clothes. When he passed all of his brothers and sisters came to see him too.
@dgwalters15 ай бұрын
@@rumjack5286you remember meeting your grandfather’s mother? Musta been about 12 y/o when she had him. Guess it makes sense for a cult though

7:11 I think when you say thank you, you thank the husband who provided and the wife who made them, which is completely normal. Especially the husband bcos he was the one who agreed for the interview and let you guys entered the house.

Super cool episode but never forget that the Amish beat their kids so badly they don't cry as babies and upward. They always have been and always will be a cult.
