Okay I want to start out by saying Charles has that reputation of bad mouthing people especially sports players like Klay Thompson. Of course when a player goes through a Season Ending Injury or Injuries like Klay Thompson did that will have an effect on you. I think it was a mental thing that transitioned into his Physical Play w/the Warriors. I think everyone can agree the change from Golden State to Dallas was not surprising but I think it is a good thing or a Win for both teams. Like Charles said it will be Interesting to watch Klay | Mavericks this season.

Chuck kept it 100%. Fathertime is always undefeated. Every year klay is getting worse like every normal athlete. Lol right?! I will say this though, as a Warriors fan that watches every game (what a blessing🤯), it didn’t look good from everyday perspective. Sure he got his numbers, but we know that the Warriors tended to force feed Klay in order to make sure his numbers were up to par. But I feel you though, he’s so deadly that people are always drooling for him to just go off, and when he doesn’t absolutely destroy the other team, he is scrutinized for not being perfect. I will say, we gotta give him some leeway. This dude was an Iron Man before he got hurt. Again, I watched him every night and he was a monster defensively and a perfect compliment to Steph Curry’s greatness on the offensive side. It’s so unfortunate that he experienced the injuries that he did. It really sucks because he treated the game the right way. so with that being said, I will always show love to Klay Thompson, I get upset, but no matter what I will always remember his commitment to playing the game the right way, which is a lost art.

Contrary to what Chuck said, the Warriors didn't let him go. Their offer to him was more than the offers of the Lakers and Mavs. Klay chose to leave the Warriors because he felt the Warriors were disrespecting him by lowballing him. He chose less money with the Mavs because he thought they gave him a better chance than the Lakers to finish with a better record than the Warriors.

I don’t say or think this very often, but Barkley nailed it. Klay has lost a step, and it’s a big one. It’s why he isn’t the same defender by a long shot and he can’t get his shot off anywhere near as fast. If you watch him, you will see a lot of forced shots with defenders in his face. He doesn’t get to his spots fast enough anymore. That’s a big problem that the Mavs just took off the Warriors’ hands.

As usual Shaq is wrong, all the Mavericks need Klay to do is keep the extra defender from collapsing into the paint. Shooting 6 out of 10 from the 3 point line is definitely going to do that. Saying he won't help when all he has to do is catch and shoot is ridiculous.
