I feel like in the Warriors there was a lot of weight and pressure on Klay to do something, after all he was the 2nd best shooter. Him having to make sure that he supports Curry at all times and do a lot probably took a massive toll on him. Him being in Mavericks I feel allows him to focus more on what he should be doing, shooting and defending. Klay is one of the greatest shooters out there, and him playing with Kyrie and Luka will allow him to lean more onto his strengths and lessen the weight while also benefiting Kyrie and Luka since they both know that they can kick out the ball to one of the greatest shooters in the NBA. It's a great trade, wish nothing but the best for Klay, hopefully with this kind of setup he won't have to push his body too much

He’s really not a great playmaker. That’s why he struggled so much last year, he was trying to do too much. He doesn’t have great handles, isn’t quick enough to blow by defenders and not the best decision maker when he does try to penetrate/drive. He’s one of the greatest shooters of all time but he’s an average to even below average play maker off the dribble. He’s also gonna have to earn that clutch shooter title back after his performance in the playoffs last year.
