INSIDE: THE ODIN BIOTECH COMPANY LAB

This new video series is about biohacking spaces and maker labs. We want to show how different people organize their working spaces to work on projects. We hope to inspire others make great things. Today we're looking inside The ODIN, a biotech startup made by Josiah Zayner that sells genetic engineering kits to everyone.

Yanelab is Ukraine's first DIY bio lab located in Dnipro. It was founded in 2019 by the group of students from a local university with a goal of educating ourselves through DIY experiments because we wanted to get knowledge in biotechnology, but it could not be provided by Ukrainian educational system. Now our goal is democratization of biotechnology and popularization of science. We want to do that by providing resources and knowledge not only in our physical lab, but virtually also. Yanelab - це перша в Україні DIY bio лабораторія, що розташована у місті Дніпро. Вона була заснована у 2019 році групою студентів з місцевого університету з метою навчання завдяки DIY експериментам: ми хотіли отримати знання з біотехнології, але українська система освіти не може цього надати.
Наша ціль - це демократизація біотехнології та популяризація науки. Ми робимо це як фізично, так і віртуально. Ви також можете приєднатися до нашої лабораторії. Hey, yes! If you’re not from Germany tho, they banned biohacking. You can definitely order from The Odin if you’re from any other country
