nobody seems to think its a bit odd that this guy got treatment only Trump gets when they come with a warrant? And they listened to him explain who's in the house after politely knocking and waiting for him to come and answer? Since when do they serve warrants like that? And how many people would answer their door if they did? Just him. Then finding all those drugs and him admitting what he does and they just say ok and leave telling him they'll let him know when to come to court? And this sounded believable to you? Have you EVER heard the cops behave anything similar to that? Do you not wonder that the guy that operated the Silk Road who did this same thing got life with out parole but he got a slap on the wrist and sent home? This guy and his story is blatantly false and has serious issues. There's nothing "good" about it.

There was this Russian darknet market, Hydra. It's now defunct, but when it operated, it had a strict set of rules about not making a stash near playgrounds or police stations. They had a test program, where the admins would pick up some stashes and test them with a mass spectrograph, so that there was at least some guarantee that it's the stuff that was ordered. Some stores had this (admin-placed) banner that said "this store sells spice", which is an umbrella term for synthetic cannabinoids that are also easy to overdose on. So it's not uncommon to have ethical drug deals. The market was closed last year during a raid on their data center in Germany.

we on youtube might still be getting older episodes uploaded weekly or bi-weekly. Notice, how the numbering appears all over the place? Well it's because he's been running the podcast on spotify and other places, but recently started uploading both old and new episodes onto youtube. And to get higher engagement it's better to do it in such a way, instead of releasing all at once. The only thing is that it does mess up the ordering a bit, but I don't think that matters too much in case of this podcast series, so it's up to the creator to decide. Personally, for exactly this show, where being up-to-date isn't very important, I'd probably have releases more often on the platform you're coming to, and make them slowly catch-up to the other platforms where you already release at a set schedule. Then set the new platform to the same schedule, and all are to be released at the same time.
@YTHandlesWereAMistake Жыл бұрын
Interestingly, he got back to releasing to KZbin after the algorithm picked it up and recommended to a few people, when the show was a few years old but not updated anymore (including me, I was sick and listened to all episodes with no pauses in a short few days cause had too high temp to do pretty much anything else other than consuming the content, even reading was rather hard). A month or two, I think, passed, I assume Jack noticed the increased viewership and demand, and started making these cool backgrounds and thumbnails (notice how they're actually animated and new for each release) and uploading new episodes with them. He then started both posting both new and older episodes, altering releases.

Technically postal inspectors don't have any conviction rate considering the fact that they're not united states attorneys. I do get your point though. You're also right about the x-ray machine and the dogs. Fortunately though drug sniffing dogs cannot do 8 hour shifts like human beings can. Analogy I ever heard for this was when you go into a candle store and you smell 5 or 6 candles and then after that all the candles just kind of smell the same. Additionally if you've considered permeation correctly than a drug sniffing dog is not going to be an issue.

Definitely. We need a completely different way of looking at drugs. Instead of "all drugs are bad, stay away from anything to do with any of them, don't even learn anything about them", we should know the difference between them, what their effects are, which ones are simple party drugs and which can kill us, etc. I think it would turn out in a way parallel to sex-ed. Abstinence-only sex-ed (not that it can really be called that) states are also the ones with the highest teen pregnancy rates. We need drug-ed the same way we need sex-ed. Good thing the internet is making some strides in that direction too.
