I work as security (essentially a glorified receptionist) for a very well known major AAA video game company and a few months ago i started to notice little vulnerabilities with the buildings security system occasionally. So when i was bored at work i decided to lookup related information and videos on KZbin about building security. Well randomly i came across a video of Deviant Olam giving a presentation and i was immediately hooked. I took a deep dive into pen testing and the whole red team blue team aspect of security. I realized that security at my work place was alot more vulnerable that i originally thought. I was even able to use some of the tricks he demonstrates to open doors within seconds. My favorite was the can of dust off trick lol. I even started to put together a ring of keys he suggested. With just those 7-9 keys you can open a scary amount of doors and objects. Im currently looking into traditional lock picking just as a fun little hobby to learn when i get bored. Plus you never know when that type of skill might save your life 🤷. It would be awesome to meet him and gain some first hand knowledge from him. But for now im just glad you did an episode with him so i am definitely excited for this one!

The Lock Picking Lawyer channel would blow your mind if you dont know about him already. He is a living meme, his videos never run more than 5 minutes and if it is it is a good lock, and that locks unlock themselves in his mere presence, he many times does not even need a key.
@BD90.. Жыл бұрын
Getting those videos down to 5mins is for views. It takes alot of practice to know a random locks well enough to pick them that quick. Knowing the right pick to use, the right binding order, the different exploits the lock can be exploited by etc etc.....are not things you just know and find out in a five minute video. He hardly ever opens locks out of their packaging which is another sign he has practiced alot and is not some God at lock picking. Lately his videos are just an advertisement for tools he sells which is fine. I don't agree with making lock picking look easier than it sometimes is. But to keep the videos entertaining you need to make them as short as possible to keep the current audience with a attention span of 10secinds engaged.

This CRUSHES Joe Rogan by FAR imo. Joe interrupts his guests a lot. He's NOT funny, charismatic, & honestly he's a fuckin CLOWN that masquerades as someone who's intelligent. He's smart enough not to tell on himself so much but he's really a CLOWN. The guy backed Bernie Sanders who would've taxed Joe's ass into the poor house. Bernie NEVER held an actual job in his ENTIRE life. The guy took jiu-jitsu & really still said that Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather & half the men in her UFC division! He said that Ronda "is the greatest athlete, of all time, male or female, of any sport EVER, & he CAN'T wait to tell his future kids that he met this person". He was crying when he said this. He compared her to Muhammad Ali FFS! Then he didn't know that Chris Cuomo was lifting an obviously fake 100lb dumbbell with ease! Joe lifts dumbbells EVERY DAY! He would know the difference between what he lifts & 100lbs but no he doubled down on it being real before being so CLOWNED that he backed off confused though about how people could really know it's take fake lol!!! WOW man. This show CRUSHES JRE.

What people also completely overlook is the framing that holds in the windows (industrial not in a home). The extruded aluminum framework which I used to build myself is the biggest flaw in every security system. It pops into place like a puzzle piece. It's not held in with glue. It's not welded in any way and you can put the glass right back. It's that easy.. If you want more information just message me. I did to work for a long time.

Honestly, can you imagine how tight security on site probably felt to the employees and security staff. They likely got complacent over time, but we’re tight AF originally. But instead of a “boring day at the office” they get a funny story, some extra training, which is meh, but that’s part of having a job right? Your title brings to mind a prior job (kitchen) where one of the coworkers was a convicted "former" teenage swindler. (He took the job while awaiting sentencing. Genius short-sighted managers.) I didn't talk that much to him or discuss with him what he did, but the other day I watched his "story" that was since made on hbomax. At least to those of us in the know, the realization should set in that, with somebody who has a history of lying, you should *automatically* assume anything they say can be a lie. Thought I would throw that in here as perhaps the best defense against somebody who "lies for a living" (including those foreign "princes"), aside from trying to avoid them entirely.

I work in construction and even though i dont do super high profile stuff, it would shock you on how bad the security is at most places. I do commercial metal framing and drywall so i am in a lot of retail places and warehouses. We also do door frame and door install with hardware so im familiar with doors and how they work. I could easily get into 90% of the doors we install but thats not the most effective way to break in. Just being a construction worker alone is your key to everything. Just last week i was going to this at home store we built, they are up and running already but i was called back because a door wasn’t latching. The door was in their count room where they keep all the money. Dead ass all i had to do to get access to the money room was walk up to the manager and tell them i was here to fix a door and she just handed me the keys. Didn’t ask my company or my name or make me prove what i was there to do. I was in plain clothes, no neon vest or anything. The only thing that hints to being a worker was a screw driver in my back pocket. She just took my word for it and gave me the keys. Its like that on every job. Currently the most “high security” job is at a hospital. There i was vetted and given a badge with access to only certain areas but after spending time there I found there are so many ways i can get in. They sound all crazy with security when you get badged but you start working and realize they dont care that much. I have gone in without my badge and had no issues and you catch things like the kitchen staff proping the door open because they are too lazy to scan in and out every time and i have gone through there many times and literally no one questions you because of the hardhat and vest. The hardhat and vest gets you into anything on any job. People literally don’t question you at all. If i need access to a room all i have to do is ask and they just let me in. I even did a helicopter plant that was super high security and I would just tailgate people to get in and out and put on the hardhat and vest and no one questions anything. It’s wild to me lmao
