it was really a great opportunity for me to witnessed godless n defeated sanity 🤟 that was an awesome experience ....Hope next time the show will not be in monsoon,,coz very less of amount of spectators were able to be present there coz of the rain .....n the venue was also in a very remote area where there was no any means for public transport......

I refuse to buy tickets in advance in the UK too, but the reasons are very different xD (things like they actively pressure with FOMO but claim mental health awareness, or because they use Shitetmaster). There are also cancellations because the business side usually pushes too hard and fucks it up, not usually crowd safety (except lights that might fall off the ceiling of new buildings...) or political BS.

Live Rock music is nothing new in India . It has been in existence since 70s but it has always been a struggle to stage these events. In addition to normal concert problems ( logistics, costs, revenues , getting right bands etc) , there are location specific issues, religious and political interference and of course the weather. Rock & Roll has always been a niche music scene in India and the % of audiences is meagre compared to Movie and popular music or even Classical Indian music whether from North or South . Promoting and encouraging such rock metal music festivals in such remote venues is an act of courage indeed

Meghalaya is a tribal place and most are christian and some follow the local tribal religion...they are generally cleaner than other parts of indiaand you are generally stereotyping the entire country to the plains of north india...so it better you get out of the bubble
