Have no doubts about it, the USA is very German... And wow, as you can see in the vid, the ancestors of the first Germans who arrived on the landmass, have now definitely taken over. So much so that they've become the largest ethnicity by far in the nation, since first arriving in the country during the month of October, 1608... Years later, in 1683, 13 families from the town called Krefeld, Germany sailed to what was to become the USA about 90 years later. They arrived in Pennsylvania, and through the influence of the leader of their expedition, Herr Franz Daniel Pastorius (a German), they were able to convince Mr. William Penn (from London, England), who founded Pennsylvania during the year of 1682 , to sell them 5,700 acres of land. Once purchased, the families founded Germantown, Pennsylvania. And, this was considered thereafter, by leading historians, to be the 1st official settlement of Germans in America, and also in what was later to become the USA, in 1776-1778.

Mixed American heritage: Dad’s black, Mom’s white. My genetics: 52% German, 30% African (almost 20% Nigerian), & 10% English. My Dad is obviously African American. My mother is from central Pennsylvania, which explains the German heritage. It’s the only family line we can trace.. we can go back to the 1400’s in Germany
