I worked for a short period as a compliance officer for an aviation recruitment company and all the engineers loved the airbus. Pretty nice space to play with…

I flew in one. It felt like just a regular plane but with more head room at the window seats because of the vertical walls.

@@bojaiden5175 the tickets for the A380 aren’t really more expensive than any other flight on the same route, it’s only ridiculously expensive if you’re not flying economy

Amazing plane. I don’t fly too often, but hope I can fly on one of these. My brother flew on Emirates in first class from Kuwait to Dubai and he couldn’t stop telling me about it.

I have flown on this equipment several times and when I flew out to Europe the first and most important detail was that I flew on this, the Airbus A380 800! Usually Lufthansa. Unlimited wine and champagne in coach class, Real cutlery absolutely the best, in coach class !

@cranegantry868 actually, some airlines refer to their planes as "equipment." Not sure why.

I flew in an Emirates business class twice and I must say it is beyond fantastic. So comfortable and food is amazing as well. My friend got upgraded to First Class and he mentioned taking a shower in flight as well. Jeez. The bar car is simply superb where you can gather and have a drink and look out the window as well. A bartender serves you any drink you want

I f;ew in a 1970s era 747 from SFO to Sidney. Longest trip of my life. First Denver to SFO and afterwards Sidney to Perth. All in cattle class. The upgrade to buisiness class would have been $18,000 extra. Horrible trip.

"As well as traditional forms of violence such as wife-battering and sexual abuse, Arab women suffer, throughout their lives, from specific types of domestic violence: carelessness, female genital mutilation, lack of education/access to education, confinement at home, sexual abuse, child marriages, forced marriages. UK to Oz. On the A380 second leg was amazing. Quiet, comfortable and a real pleasure. Sadly the first leg from the UK to Abu Dhabi was the exact opposite and it wasn't on an A380.

I remember before the Airbus could land and take off here, Christchurch, New Zealand, the airport run way had to be lengthened and strengthened. The first time it landed here was a huge deal, there was even a field set aside with parking for anybody interested to watch the landing from
