Many people travel to Cuba, but only a few truly experience the raw reality of the local people before leaving. That's why today, I've decided to visit Caibarien, often considered one of Cuba's ugliest villages.
During my trip, I got a special opportunity to experience what it's like to be a regular Cuban. I had to deal with the difficulties of getting around in Cuba, where there's no fixed schedule for transportation. This made me realize that life there has its own unique pace. While I was exploring I also had the chance to meet several individuals who shared insights about life in present-day Cuba.
Hope you guys enjoy it!! Legoooo!!

Thank you, Timmy. I'm 85 and it in good health but I luckily found your channel four days ago and now I'm able to do the kind of travel I so enjoy, mixing with the local people. I was fortunate. To live three years on a small Navy base in the barrio of Cavite, Phillippines. Your travels remind me of my years there. You have given me such a gift to break the boredom of living alone in my small apartment in Seattle, Washington. God bless you, Timmy. Be safe.

Cuba is my country, lived there till I was 14 years old never lived in anyone other country except Cuba and the USA, I know now what you mean by me commenting on other videos claiming I’m from the country being shown, now if the country being shown is a communist country I tent to talk about it because I lived in one my entire childhood. I’m not sure if you have the time or interest but show me an example of one of my comment when I lying because I don’t know what you mean.

Timmy is 100% right about some of the benefits of travel. Don't wait until you are on your death bed to go. Just pick a place and try. Talk to a pretty girl (or guy) and make some good memories. I understand, and can relate to what the fellow distinguishing between "Education" and "Instruction" is saying, because here in Canada many people are now recognizing that we have not received an "Education" but instead our schools, particularly the Universities have for quite some time been "Indoctrinating" not "Educating", with the difference being that an Education teaches one "How to Think", while an Indoctrination teaches one "What to Think".

The impact of the embargo on the Cuban economy today Dr. Ricardo Torrez Pérez, a leading Cuban economist who is currently a researcher and professor at American University, examined the impact of the US embargo on Cuba at the macro level. As a small island, Cuba is in a position where it depends on trade to survive. As a result of the total ban on trade with the Western world, a 2021 estimate by the Cuban government found that the embargo has cost the country close to $145 billion. A similar figure has been recognized by the United Nations.

He is right, when I'm traveling I pay whatever they say it cost. Maybe I'll have to negotiate more when I travel.

Yes, Timmy, your travel organization is rather haphazard, but you make me smile and cringe, sometimes. It's all very entertaining. Use that travel magic and stay safe.

@@TimmyKarter I've picked up a little bit over the years. Worked with a few Latin people and some of the coolest people I've ever met but never had the chance to travel outside of the states. Definitely on the bucket list though. Safe travels my friend and look forward to more videos to come

Timmy those kids are bullshiting you, specially the kid in black shirt….I was laughing out loud comparing Cuba with Dubai…Dubai is super rich super modern and clean…you see Cuba as Dubai ?🥴🥴🥴🥴. Those guys on the table wasted your time. Kurt was scammed, he hated Cuba, and never going back.

Pues que no vuelva ese pendejo, que solo vino a denigrarnos! El niño desconoce muchas cosas por su edad y por el aislamiento que nos han impuesto, pero en otras cosas si tuvo razón.
